Hey everyone.
Sorry I took so long to reply but geezzzz. Surgery went fine on the 18th. I was up and walking within a few hours. I won't lie, I had some BAD pain but it wasn't constant. I was set to get released from the hospital Sat morning but my bilirubin level had doubled since surgery. My nurse told me that meant my liver had either been traumatized or damaged during surgery. Long story short they kept checking it and it finally went down yesterday morning. I was finally released late in the day. Only problem, I had no where to go. The city my hospital is in was under a blizzard warning. We had 14 inches of snow and 50 mph winds Saturday and Sunday.. We managed to get to the hotel my mom and sis had been hibernating in since my surgery. We spent the night there last night, and I finally made it home today.
The pain has been sporadic, and I used my band wrap alot and kept the drugs flowing. I gained 8 lbs following surgery but have since lost 16. I am struggling with the protein shakes but am getting all my water in. AND I POOPED this morning! First one since my surgery. I felt sssooo much better after that.
OK my drugs are kicking in.. write more tomorrow.. hugs to all and glad to see everyone made it through surgery ok.

Glad you're home and feeling better. Way to go losing that hospital weight AND MORE so quickly! I was one pound up at my one week check- NOT a happy camper about that. I wanted to be at least even, if not have had a small loss. Guess my body likes to hold on to water.  ;-(

So glad to hear that you are doing well, almost sent out a search party, lol! Congrats on your weight loss too keep us updated.

oh ms.jj so glad to hear from you...sorry about everything that went on but looks like you managed to get through it all. glad to see you back and im glad everything is going fine....we missed ya.......well watch out cause we are going to rule 2009!!
