Welcome back!  I'd hoped that I'd get to say "congrats" before I left for my own surgery!  Your support over the past 10 days has been amazingly helpful and is appreciatd more than any words can say!!

My surgery time was set for 7:30 am on Monday.  I'm the first of the day!  So... I reckon I'll be joining you on that bench soon.  Save some room, would ya??

730 is a good time to have surgery.  I am glad I could help you.

I was hoping to post from my hospital room but Verizon Wireless net access sucks.

I can honestly say that all my fears were taken away when I saw my surgeon i the pre-op area.
I don't know how to describe the atosphere there. It was just so relaxed.

I was like this is going to be better than I thought. don't know if I had a realization of some sort. can't describe it.

Call it "epiphany", call it "divine intervention".. w hatever it is it helped you through and now you're living success of how great recovery can be!!!  I'm so very happy that you're well, still upbeat and feeling great!  (Or as great as you can be when your insides have been completely rearranged!  lol)

I'm not looking forward to the clear liquids I'm on tomorrow or the lovely "bowel prep" that will make me miss the last Sunday of Advent services in addition to missing Christmas services at my church.. but, I think of how many more I will have to celebrate because of this!

Get lots of rest, keep moving that gas and I'll hopefully be sending an "I'm home" post just like yours!
