My surgery is on Monday the 22nd....Im Sooooo Nervous/excited!

 

 

I'm on Monday 12/22 also!  I shopped for all my clear liquid "foods" tonight.  I can't believe the day is almost here already!

I am on the 22nd too and I am definitely more excited.  Can't wait but I have so much to do before I go in.  ugh.

 How are things today??  Did you get everything taken care of yet?  LOL  Im laughing because I have put almost EVERYTHING off until this weekend...what was I thinking??

I do have facebookbut not eveyone knows I am getting this so my wls is not facebook friendly.

Been thinking about you this week as we both posted our "scared to death" posts last week.  You might remember that my surgery is on Monday as well.  I found out today I am scheduled for 7:30 am with arrival time at 6am.  Yikes.  I'm scared... feel like vomitting, crying, and screaming all at once.  I'm excited because I've waited SO long for this.  I'm nervous to miss my kids and husband.  It's a crazy train of emotion and I hear it gets worse for a bit after the surgery.  Thank God my kids and I will be staying with my mom and dad to get "babied" for a week after the surgery!

I'll look for you late next week.  Here's praying for a hugely successful surgery and symptomless recovery!

 Oh, I hear you about the emotional stuff!  I cried today over a childs book,  and yesterday I cried several times for...I don't know...because my walls are painted blue?  WHO KNOWS!    I don't know if I already told you this, or if you Doctor has said anything, but mine told me that a LOT of patients freak out after surgery because we wont even be able to drink much.  But it's NORMAL...our new pouches will be so swollen and angry at us..but it WILL get better!  
  My little girl will be with her dad and step mom, and my two foster teens will be with there family for a few days..(Which is bitter sweet, I want them to have a GOOD Christmas, and if something happens while they are there, I wont be my normal self...But this Momma will STILL take care of it..lol)  And hubby is a complete mess.  He is trying SO hard to keep things "normal".  Poor guy.  
  I think you and i will be just FINE, and eventually we will be so happy that we did this!  It just may take awhile!
