Just discovered this forum and thought I would stop by and say hello to everyone! I am scheduled to have surgery on the 19th of this month. I am very excited yet very nervous. I struggle w/ aniexty and heart palpitations so I am trying my best to keep my head high and relax. I am glad that I found this forum because now I feel like I can connect w/ those that are having the surgery close to mine. So it does make me feel better. I love friends so please feel free to send me a friend request.

Welcome to the board!

I am usually the "walmart door greeter" but have been shirking my duties of late. But better late than never!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! Mine is about 30 hours away and if you read the post above this one you will see I am struggling with it.

You will find a great group of people on here and many
who are pre op as well as many post op. Everyone here is very warm and open to questions and will help you along the way.

I am adding you as a friend, please keep in touch!

Welcome to the board.

We are always looking for new people to join the party.

Good luck on your surgery. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

We can all sit on the loser's bench together.

Welcome, we are having surgery the same day! I am feeling the same way excited and nervous, I jump between the two all the time. This forum is great, because we can chat with people who are going through the same things.

Meet the Surgeon Aug 1, 2011 .... hopefully the surgeons office is right and everything will go fast and I'll have surgery later this month.

Hi... I'm a big worrywort too.  I had my sleeve done Monday and have been surprised at how well I feel.  Monday afternoon was tough, but the nurses will take good care of you.  Try to relax and I'll check in with you.

Best of luck!  I had surgery on Dec. 4th and already forgot about it and can now focus on my new life.  You'll have that too!  Just be positive and happy and we will see you on the losing side!!!  Let us know how you are!  I'll be thinking of you.
