constipation anything safe???

sorry guys I know too much info but I figured you all have been through it...does any one know if there is anything safe 2 weeks post op for constipation? it is Sunday night and I dont want to be calling the dr. for this but I am beginning to get a real stomache ache because of it.

my nutritionist reccommended me to take fiber sure....its the kind thats clear and you mix it with water and it doesnt taste like anything.

My doc recommended Benefiber.  It is available at the grocery store and pharmacy.  Also make sure you are getting at least 64 ounces of water per day.

I am suffering right along with you, and it is no fun, but the Benefiber does help when you take it.

I weighed 313 pounds on December 1, 2008 the day of my RNY surgery and have lost 81%
