MoniqueFrederick reporting in!! Im Home

Hey everybody.Well im home i had surgery on Weds and everything went well. I came home yesterday about 5pm and sipped on some broth and went right to bed. I am feeling great other then the gas. It is the worse. I have been doing alot of walking but the gas just started moving yesterday.

I wasn't nervous at all i got to the hospital at 6am but surgery wasn't till 10:45. Before i went in and said my goodbyes my hubby and i said a prayer for everyone then i was awake and in my room. My surgeons team was awesome they took such good care of me. I miss the pain medication i had the pain meds button in one hand and the nurses button in the other lol.

I can't believe  it's over with. I am so thankful. I did check on here while i was in the hospital and i had close to 30 messages but i was so out of it i couldn't respond. I did check in though. Im not hungry at all and right now i don't know what to think i feel emotional but i can't even cry to get it out. More then anything im feeling blessed that i have a new start in life. 

I want to thank all of you for all the support and love it has definitely made a difference. Its nice to know that someone cares. I will give a full update on my blog probably tomorrow or so but i wanted to check in with all my Dec peeps i know you guys were wondering where i am. 

I see JJ put out a call for me lol. Im home and doing good. On my way to feeling better then great!!

Bout time you showed that pretty face on here. I was ready to send out the posse to find you! I am so glad you are doing so well and everything was successful! Get some rest, let the hubby baby ya and once you are feeling better get your happy behind back here to fill in all of us scaredy cats on all the details!

Hi Monique,

Yes, we were looking for you and much to our delight you have signed on and the surgery is over.  YEAH.  I hope you are feeling ok....I truly know what you mean about the gas....its awful!  I have GasX strips and Gel tablets and they help but its still very uncomfortable.  Try to get some rest but dont be too idle....you want to get up and move around periodically to keep the blood flowing and eliminate the chance for bloodclots.   Well, I'll let you go for now....keep us posted.

Hi Monique,

Glad you are doing well... I am just short of 48 hours post-op... I must say I am actually feeling pretty good... my only two issues are the gas (which is moving, yeah), and I am a stomach sleeper, which is really a problem for me... but all and all I am glad we are both doing great and are here together for this new life and new seat on the losers bench....
