My surgery is the 15th, and now I get sick

I just wanted to vent a little....I am really worried that they may have to reschedule my surgery since I have come down with bronchitis and a head cold!!! They put me on heavy antibiotics today but I don't know if I will be well enough to have the surgery on the 15th. That makes me so mad but I guess I need to let it go so I can focus on getting well. I hope all of you stay well, and don't have to face this issue. Thanks for letting me vent.

good luck with that! I just got a horrible cold too, that I hope goes away very very fast :)

Gosh, I am so sorry to hear about that.  Try and drink lots and lots of fluids and get plenty of rest.  Im sure you will be just fine by the 15th. 

Hang in there, you have over a week to get better and I am sure you will.
During my pre-op blood testing, I tested positive for the h-pylori antibodies which meant I had to take 14 days worth of antibiotics. I took 2000 mg amoxicillin, 1000 mg biaxin and 60 mg of prevacid a DAY!! I don't think any virus could find me let alone invade me. Knocking on wood!
Rest and daydream.. just a little longer to go!!

 I had the round of antibiotics too for the H-pylori, hopefully I stay healthy. Remember vitamin C and losts of rest.

I hope that you feel better. Hopefully you will be better by then. I know what you are going through i had a bad cold too. I drank alot of vitamin c and fluids. Everything will work out. And i had to take prevacid too have stomach inflamation.

My surgery is the 15th also....I hope you are well enough to have it. My whole family keeps getting  sick and I am so afraid I will catch it.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am on anitbiotics and am getting better every day. I would be great if my right ear pressure would return to normal!! So, as for now, surgery is ago Monday morning!!!! I will be anxious to hear from all of you after surgery.
