Dec 8th !!! AHHH

They moved my date today for the 8th, it was suppose to be on the 17th (maybe, waiting approval). It was approved!!!  Im so not prepared, got to make sure all things are in order.  So nervous and scared. Its FINALLY gonna happen.  Its like Im in a dream. Ive waited majority of my life for something like this, and now its finally gonna happen. THANK YOU, LORD!!!! Any advice anyone?

Guess just relax and let it happen.  Mu surgery is also on Dec 8th @ 11:00 am.  I'm ready.  Went so far as to make several meals for my husband - all in the freezer for him.  This way I won't worry and he won't have to bother cooking.  Also Christimas decorating done too.  So when I come home all will be done.  Good luck to you!!

Hi kATHY....Congratulations on your upcoming surgery on the 8th.  I had Lap RNY Nov. 19th and have lost  29.7 pounds total with  79 more to go.  I feel great and am tolerating food, water and protein supplements well.  Come on over to the Over 50 Forum and see how you like it.  I note that you will be 60?  I am a retired 66 year old lady that is so happy I made the decision for WLS.    Hoping to hear more from you.  You're going to do great!!

I'm also scheduled for dec 8th, and I'm totally overwhelmed about it.  i wish i could be excited, but i'm just not.  i know it will be the best thing for me, but I'm not there mentally.  I'm waiting on the results of my nuclear stress test to see if i get clearance.  Just had it today.  First stress test came out with a slight anomaly, then the one today looked ok, but I haven't gotten the results of the echo from today or the nuclear portion of the stress test.  I have just had so much going on I can't even think about the surgery yet.  For me it's easier to not think about it b/c when I do, I get upset.  Sorry to be a downer ...

I'm on Dec. 9th and it seems so strange that a week from today it will all be over and I will be post-op.  Excited to move forward with it, and wondering -- what have I forgotten to get ready for afterwards....

Tomorrow night at this time you will be on the loser's side .
I still have 11 days to go, but am ready NOW!

im with you too on the 8th...nervous!! Im actually checkin into the hospital at midnite to get everything started and then i get wheeled in at 7am!! eeeek! well we will be on the other side together. Prayers are sent to all of us in december!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!
