OK December 18th'ers... 1 month to go

I personally can not wait.  I would go tomorrow if they called

I had my final pre op appt today with my surgeon.  Got my protein shakes and went over everything with the nurse.. now all I have to do is wait... let's see 20 days from now I will be in recovery... woo hoo.. bring it on.. I am SO ready!!

Hi I'm new to this forum. I've been an observer and participant on the OH chat room.  I too am scheduled for surgery on Dec.18th.  I am so excited but scared too.  Scared that I wont' be able to lose last 7 lbs that they want me to lose.  I'm on a liquid diet now. Started it on Monday and have already lost 5 lbs.  7 more to go.  I keep telling myself Ican and will do this.  I am having RNY but not sure if it will be  a lap or open procedure.  What ever it is i'm ready mentally.  Just have that weight to lose. I had my last pre-op appt. today and a 2 hr class thats required.  So anyway, I congratulate all you Dec. 18ners.  Hey ho lets go...yahoo.

I am having my RNY on the 12/18 too. I am a little nervous but excited at the same time. I must say that this website has truly been a blessing for me. It is so nice to be able to come on here and feel among family and friends. It's helpful to have people that are going through or has been through your situations. Good luck to all of you and I hope everyone an awesome recovery.
