New topic?!?!?!
Other than being healthy & thin????
1. I can't wait to step on the scale & watch the numbers go down.
2. I can't wait to look good, too.
3. I want to get rid of my "race car jumps". I have a 4 yr old & he was sitting on my lap last week & he said, 'mama, you have race car jumps on your belly'. I told him that I was getting rid of my race car jumps & he wasn't too happy about that. LOL
4. It would be nice to buy a nightie & look good in it, rather than resort to sweats.
What are you looking forward to? When is your surgery? Mine is 12-5. Only 3 1/2 wks away. Yikes!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to no more diabetes -- no more meds, sticking myself to check the blood sugar, worrying about did I eat too much (cause I won't be able to! )
Other things of course --
not feeling self-concious in public
not feeling like the biggest woman in the group
being more active and having more energy!

Taking the stairs at work while talking to someone.
My office building has a large central set of stairs, and as we all herd from floor to floor during the day for meetings, it would be nice for once to be able to walk up the stairs with my colleagues. As it is now, they have to hear the popping and creaking of my knees as I wince in pain from the effort. It is so difficult for me I am usually red in the face, out of breath and sweating by the time we get to the next meeting. Sometimes I stay back and disappear so I can go down the hall to take the freight elevator. I completely alienate myself because of my obesity.
