December 24th surgery date

i just found out that I have a tentative date of Dec 24th.  Not to excited about the date but am excited to have one.  Hoping that prayers will help to place me on a different date, if someone cancels or is unable to.

I didn't think they'd do surgery on Christmas eve.. but congrats!!!

I know it's tough but just think it's a great gift to yourself for yourself.  You will have MANY MANY MORE healthy Christmas celebrations after this year.

I will keep you in my prayers for an earlier date change.

I hemed and hawed of 12/15 date as well.  I am just going to celebrate Christmas early with family and exchange gifts before I go into the hospital.  That way if I don't feel like doing much the weeek after surgery I will be ok.

My surgery was originally going to be Xmas eve too but I am a single mom with three children so I told them it would have to wait until the first of the year but then they got an opening on December 15th so hopefully you will get lucky and they will find an earlier opening for you to in December. I could hardly believe that they would even do surgery on christmas eve. Good luck to you and keep in touch.
