Hey guys how are you today?  Sorry you are sick Michelle that sucks.. I know this flu/cold is going around and I am loading up on tea and zinc and echineache (sp) just in case don't want to get sick.  Feel better soon!!

I went today to the gastro doc and had my consult i have the endescope scheduled for next thursday at 830 am.. i am thinking I can go to work afterwards if my hubby drives me, I don't recall how I felt the last time I had one, do you guys know?  If i am too drugged out i will just stay home, but like you michelle, I hate to keep leaving early and coming in late for all these damn tests!!

I haven't told my employers what kind of surgery i am having, just told them i was having surgery, I am not sharing my surgery with anyone but family and some friends, many people even family have given me hard times about it and horror stories, so i don't want any more "negative vibes" around me, I have made my choice and nothing will go wrong.

So tomorrow once again, i leave work early to have my stress test and november 4th i go for my first support seminar meeting that is at 7pm so no worries there.

I love my doctors office and the staff and i think it will be a good local support group, I was told yesterday no more soda, so i bought a lot of crystal lite and i drink more water than soda anyway, but do like my 7up.

Good day everybody! Do you mind if I join you since I just found out my RNY will be on Dec 2nd also.  I will be going to St. Francis in Federal Way, WA ,I live about 20 miles south in Puyallup (one of our easier Indian name around here :).  Have some more pulmonary tests to do but got everything else done except followups with cardio and my own PCP.
I just keep reading the post on several web sites and trying to absorb it all.

Congrats on the surgery date!  I do the same thing, I just read a lot and try to get in as much as possible...LOL Somtimes that tends to be a challenge....
And the more people we have the better, so hope to keep hearing from you.

Welcome! We have the same doctor! I will be at St. Francis on Dec. 3 having the gastric sleeve with Dr. Srikanth.    I'm nervous and excited all rolled into one.
