Dec 8ish with Dr. Alvarez

The time seems to be creeping my ever so slowly.  I still have some planning and loose strings to tie up first, but getting there.

I just found out my surgery will also be December 8! We can all go through this together!

Wow!  The date is getting closer!  I am SSSSOOOOO ready to have it done and over with!

I just realized that I will still be on full liquids at Christmas. We're going to my grandma's, who is such a wonderful cook, and makes all kinds of tempting holiday treats. WAAAH!

Oh well, I just have to keep remembering what they say:

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

I just completed my pre-op and what a day that was. I was also tested about the knowledge about the surgery. I had to pass the test in order to do the surgery. I was called today to do the surgery earlier but I told them I could not do it. I am in a research study which links diabetes w/ the Gastric Bypass. So they want me to take tests before the surgery.

Have you started to prepare for and after the surgery? I went shopping last Sunday and bought all sorts of things.

Nice to hear from you as well..Hope you had  nice holiday...I had my pre-op testing done on Wed..It went well...I am working a 12 hr shift today and then this weekend, so that is keeping me busy...I have bought some things, still need to get the Protein powder for after...

What types of things did you get if you dont mind me asking...
