And God, there is one more thing I wish that you could do; Hope you don't mind me asking, Please bless my computer too. Now I know that it's unusual To Bless a motherboard, But listen just a second While I explain it to you, Lord. You see, that little metal box Holds more than odds and ends; Inside those small compartments Rest so many of my friends. I know so much about them By the kindness that they give, And this little scrap of metal Takes me in to where they live. By faith is how I know them Much the same as you. We share in what life brings us And from that our friendships grew. Please take an extra minute From your duties up above, To bless those in my address book That's filled with so much love. I CAN do ALL THINGS through CHRIST who STRENGTHENS ME! That's what I tell myself. I can and I will do this!! I pray daily for the peace of God to comfort me and I am comforted. You will be fine. You've got a whole family here rallying around you to support you! Going into the unknown can always present fear if we allow it to or we can take going into the unknown as an opportunity of a lifetime that will forever change our lives for the best life yet! You need to talk just post we'll be here to listen and to get you the best answers for you. I go in MONDAY. I was told I had to be off nicotine for 2 months before my doctor would operate . . . so that day (Oct. 3) I quit cold turkey . . . along with caffine and carbonation .. . also things he says no to . . . and I had my lapband surgery on Dec. 3 .. . and feelin' better all the time! Chris

I went in for my PATs this morning and was very nervous about finding out how much the surgery was going to cost out of pocket for me ... also concerned because I had gained one pound (well gained 6 but lost 5 lol) and was terrified that they would cancel the surgery ... but to my surprise today turned out very well. PATs only took about 2 1/2 hours; all of my tests came back great; my one pound gain was a non-issue and the surgery is giong to cost much LESS than we had originally thought. So, I am still on for the 27th and am super excited!!!

Congratulations!!! So glad to hear you are home and doing OK. Yes, you do need to cough and keep doing that deep breathing. Just hold a good pillow to your tummy and try to cough! Hang in there - every day is getting better for me and my surgery was Dec. 6! Welcome home! Nancy
