I can't wait for my new journey to begin. It all begins tomorrow, at 7:30. I will slowly change from the unhealthy me to the young, healthy and vivacious mean. I can't wait. Woohoo!

Hey everyone just thought I would let you all know that I didn't have the surgery done. I was worried about my dad who was in the hospital also. I will be having the surgery done on Feb 11 now I just want to say thank you for all your support And good luck to you all!!

Congrats to you too! I'm also down 11 lbs. I am seeing my PCP this afternoon so he can look at my incisions and review my meds. Tomorrow morning I am having Mohs surgery to remove a basal cell from my face. I return to work on the 7th and class on the 9th.
Keep me informed of your progress. Are you in California, what city? I'm in Sacramento. My surgery was in South San Francisco. I will also go to SSF for my fills, first one will be 6 wks after surgery.
Where did you have your surgery on the 12th?

I didn't have that. But, I felt that my surgeon was the right choice long before I knew what my dietary requirements would be. I stuck with him and did what he required, because I knew I had made the right choice.
I'm 13 days post-op from lap RNY, and feeling as if I had nothing different done. I'm back to work, "eating" a full-liquid diet, walking, and generally feeling very confident in my decisions.
I'm not trying to brag, but just to say that the diet isn't what defines the surgeon. Hope this helps.
Topic: Surgery on Sat. 12/22 and I cheated already on my 2 week Pre-Op diet
Okay.... I have been on this liver shrinking diet and I cheated and at carbs on Sunday. Now I am freeking because I still want them to do the surgery on Saturday. Any support? Is this that bad? Can I make it anyway....
Can I make it up by doing the 3 day liquid diet too?

Hi, I just got my surgery date today. A friend of mine told me to make sure to come to the surgery board. Is there anyone else with a 12/28 date? or that lives here in IL?

Hello everyone,
I am new to this message board stuff! It is :cool:
I have a tentative date for the end of March ( I have to plan around school) Also I'm paying cash so they won't give the date until $$ is in hand. Soooo what I'm wondering is I have a friend who is trying to get me to switch doctors. She says this clinic Northwest Weight Loss doesn't have you fast and they are more liberal with what you can eat after surgery... Not sure how I feel about this since I get why you fast before hand and after so what do you guys think?? Did all of you do the 10 clear liquid diet before and 10 days after???
