For Protein, try Profect Protein Shots. they have 25g of protein per shot. I put them in my water as I have 2 a day. That way I get 50g of protein and the rest I figure I get from food.

Hi. I'm also eating everything. Well, I will try anything. Some things don't agree with my pouch. (cottage cheese, eggs, chicken and dumplings, you never know!) I was on a stall for 2 weeks and it was awful! I got on the scale this morning and have lost 3 lbs over night. I did nothing different. Everyone says that we all go through this. Something about our bodies being in shock and hanging on to the pounds. I try not to weigh as often. My clothes are falling off, too. Keep at it. Don't get on the scale! Kristen
Topic: RE: Caloric intake?
After my 5 week check up, I told the Dr. I was getting in about 400 calories a day. He said that was not enough calories. He never told me a calorie goal!

Hi Wendy:
I am fine and I hope you are the same. I had my operation on 12/3/07 in PA. Dr. Boe was my Dr. I am eating regular food. I am still having a problem getting all my protein drink down and then the amount of fluid intake that they want me to do . It seems that by the time I finish drinking I have no more room for the food but I am trying my best. My scale as been in a stall state for the past 2 weeks. It goes up 2 pounds then down 1-2 pounds in the same week but does not change at all. But my cloths are all falling off of me. So I must be losing inches.
I found a new type of cracker that I am trying. I got it at the Asian Market it is from SUN RISE PRODUCTS it is called Onion Cracker. I have 2 of them and they are real good. Something good for a change. Do you have any ideas of how I can help myself with my scale lose? I am open to any ideas.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Congrats on getting past your stall! It's always nice to see the scale moving again!
Topic: RE: Caloric intake?
My doc says no calorie counting yet. Not until at least 6-8 months out. Just focus on fluid intake, vitamins, and protein. That being said, your best bet is to call your surgeon's office and see what his specific rules are.

OMG I had cole slaw the other day.... it was so delish and stayed just fine! I was so missing some raw veggie type things.
I also do really well with fish..... and for some weird reason mexican food.... I know not the best choice but 1/2 of an enchilada does not bother me at all!
