Wow yourself Kelly great! Of course you didn't wear the clown-like baggy clothes for the comic effect, but impressive anyway!
Congrats.

Topic: Progress Photos - 2 Months Post-Op
Hi everyone,
Yesterday was my two-month mark since WLS. I've lost exactly 60 lbs since surgery and 114 lbs since my highest.
Here are some photos to remember the occasion. You can use the links at the top of the photo page to go from photos taken on the day of surgery, to me at 1 month, and 2 months (yesterday):

Anyone else have progress photos to share??? Come on, be brave! Don't leave me hangin'

Topic: RE: Having Difficulty with Foods/Liquids
Hi Kelly,
Oh Yes... We unfortunately have things in common.
I had surgery on 12/19. Water, can't handle anymore. I can eat sugarfree popsicles, cream soup, Dannon Smoothie Yogurts and do ok with my shakes (Isopure)
I'm in the soft stage and wthin about 3 wks or so...... I'll be where I can add in regular foods.... I dont see this happening. I'm the same way, everything gets stuck. Funny thing is, they sell this toast near the melba toast, that.... I can eat.
I can also eat Gerber Graduate Cookies
Try mashed potatoes--you can even use Parkay Spray Butter or Gravy (just ck the ingredients)
Hang in there....... we can't be the only ones!
Topic: RE: Will I ever eat food again!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha---we have the same thing in mind..... I had surgery on Dec 19. I'm in the soft food stage. I'm SOOOOOOOO limited w/what I can eat....mainly cream soup.
I wonder this same question....will I EVER be able to eat again?
People are asking me if I may have a sticture. What exactly is that?
I wonder if I should allow myself to get there in time or if you dont force something down you're not doing yourself any favors. If you find out, pls let me know =)
Good luck!
Topic: RE: what CAN you eat?
I can only eat cream soups..... scrambled eggs, Dannon Yogurt Shakes, stuff like that
I baically can't eat regular foods at all or you know what will happen...
Food feels like it gets hung up.... i'll ask my surgeon when I go mid March if this is normal... right now... i'll deal with it and LOOSE =)
Topic: RE: Anyone frustrated with slow weight loss???
Hi Kim, I had surgery on 12/19/07 and have only lost 35lbs...... I'm doing everything the way I'm supposed to be doing except my water intake...... I'm having a tough time getting it all in. Thats my goal from now on...... Water....Water.... and more water. I'm hoping that will start the losing process again.
Take care,
Bobbie
