Well, I had it 12-7-07...is that close enough? I have lost 22 lbs. and 3 sizes. I can't tolerate lettuce and flour tortillas. Kinda weird how everyone has different things to deal with. Good luck! Kristie

I had surgery on 12/27 and have lost somewhere between 20 and 25 pounds, but most of that was in the first 6 weeks. Now that I've graduated to regular food following the rules is much harder. I've felt like a real champion, but now I feel like I'm making the same mistakes I did pre-surgery. I've had two fills, but still know I can eat WAY too much.
I have some protein shake recipes I liked. One is a scoop of vanilla protein powder, 4 oz of milk, a drop of vanilla and a handful of ice cubes. Blend until slushy. I also liked the chocolate protein power and a Tbsp of peanut butter with the milk and ice. One that was real refreshing was the vanilla protein powder, about 4 oz of orange juice (I found some low sugar once, but haven't found it again) and a splash of milk and blended with ice.

I had a 5 hour drive today so I didn't get a long workout in ... but I did get my 1mile DVD done (with the help of my 2 littlest ones lol). Felt really good

Anyone with 12/10/07 surgery date? Just wondering how you are doing? I have lost 57 lbs and about 4 sizes. I still get tired from time to time like today I am exhausted but over all I am doing good. I still have a hard time with some foods like lettuce and chicken, which I crave and cant seem to stomach. I am exercising about 4 times a week for an hour total. How about anyone else with this date.

So what kind of workout DVD do you guys use? Just curious it is very cold here and alot of times I have my three kids and no babysitter, would be nice to have a DVD.

Well I have noticed that since I have had surgery I am always cold!!!! I mean really cold!!!!!! I know with rapid weight loss this is a side effect but I have to have layers on now to go to bed and layers on to go to work and I have a physical job in which I used to sweat so bad it isn't funny. I cant even sit down and watch tv without my electric blanket anymore, some times I even have to take a hot shower to warm up, when will this stop.

Well today I went to the gym, which I hate I might ad, but it is exercise. Can't wait for warmer weather. I jogged for 15 mins on the treadmill then a fast walk the last 15mins. After that I did about 15 mins of low weight lifting for my arms and chest then 50 crunches. I go to the gym about 4 times a week right now, that is all I can fit in my schedule with my three kids and working shift work. What is everyone else doing and how much.
