ME TO!! I am always cold now, people tell me it's because I am losing body fat. My boss at work is amazed because I was always so hot at work, now I am the one turning up the heat!
Topic: RE: 3 months post op updates ?
I'm usually on another Forum for lapband but was told by my doctor to join here and stuff... so here I am.
So my 3 month update is im at 57pound lost... hopefully 60 soon ;)
I just got my second fill about 2 weeks ago and I got a good restriction on it... but what also helped me out is I have been hitting the gym everyday for this past 3weeks... going on 4th.
So... last Friday I did my first 3miles in 42min... which im very proud of and going to work on getting that time down.
Hopefully by April I can loose about atleast 6 more pounds.

Glad to hear you are doing better!! I am hoping to make it without getting the flu ... the headcold was bad enough for nausea LOL Can't wait to see the new pics!!
I really made an effort to track my food and exercise on www.dailyplate.com and realized I wasn't doing as bad with my proteins as I thought. I am getting about 50 in a day (I am supposed to have 68) but I thought I was in the 30's so I'm better than I thought at least!! I am also now able to drink the Special K protein water again (the too sweet phase must be over ... for now lol).
Hopefully I can get outside and workout now that the weather is getting a little warmer!
Topic: JOINT PAIN!!!!
I am experiencing alot of joint pain. Mostly in my knees, ankles and my feet are killing me! I have been taking Tylenol and using muscle creams like Icy Hot but nothing seems to be working. I do have arthritis and before surgery I used anti-inflamatories but the Dr took me off of them back in November. I have done really well until this past 2 weeks. Has anyone else had this problem?? I don't know if I should bother my Dr. with this or not.

My 3 month anniversary is coming up on March 17th.... I have lost 53.5lbs and am thrilled. I don't dump, have never thrown up, and no foods I have tried have bothered me (and I have tried most everything except for ice cream)... I eat a regular diet, just smaller amounts. I only lost 7 lbs between week 6 and 12, and I was VERY disgusted, but I am thrilled to say that I am back to losing at a quicker pace and am excited .

Hi Vicky,
I had surgery on Dec 17th and also feel my weight loss is a bit slow, I have lost 53-54lbs as well! I lost a total of 67lbs pre op (57 in the 3 months immediately preop), so I assume that's why I am losing a bit slower than others...BUT, if you think about, 53lbs in 3 months??!??!?!? That's nothing to sneeze at!!!! Good Work!!!!!!
Topic: RE: Goodbye Stall
Wow, you guys are awesome! I had my surgery on Dec. 14. Starting weight was 211 and I just reached 171. Forty pounds is great for me, loss is slow but I am just thankful to lose 40 pounds! My goal is to be at 125 by Sept. 2, my 60th birthday!! Hope I make it! I also just joined Curves last week, have only been 3 times but am hoping this will speed up my weight loss.
Topic: RE: Easy Way out!! I put this on the main board also... What do you think???
Fortunately no one has said this to me but when and if someone does this is what I plan on saying:
The easy way would have been to not do anything and stay the way I was. It was not easy for me to decide to risk my life, to risk leaving my children without a mother and husband without a wife. What people do not understand is that while the weight does come off quickly for a while we still have to put a lot of work into making the surgery work. Eat what I do for a week and tell me how easy it is.
