Topic: LOW RED & WHITE BLOOD COUNT
I had surgery in dec. 2007 and had blood work done this week. It came back with both red and white count very low. The Dr. Seems to be very worried. Have any of you heard of this? Please let me know if you have. Thanks

Yes, the stalls were so depressing at first, as I didn't know what I was doing "wrong". Then, the more I read from others on the forums, I knew I was ok and it's normal. I take Biotin and drink protein shakes, but I think there is nothing I can do about the hair loss, except pray it comes back soon. Have you noticed how many "Kelly's" there are on the OH website? I never knew any when I was growing up and now I see lots. Silly, I know, just cracks me up.

I agree about the hair loss .. that has to be one of the hardest things do deal with. .. And the stalls...

I think I'm doing great. A few stalls here and there, but then the scales start going down again. The only thing I hate is the hair loss. I need to up the exercise and am working on it every day. Can't afford the gym, but walking on a treadmill and working out with some DVD's. Kelly B

Just checking in to see how everyone who had a WLS in December is doing?.. and how you are feeling?
As for me... I'm doing great the weight loss has been great and I'm walking atleast 2 miles 5 days a week - I know it should/could be more. I still haven't joined a gym as of yet. I do plan to .. Just money is tight right now... So I'll stick to my walks for now.

I walk at the park near our house that overlooks the water. I tell ya, I think its the awesome view that keeps me motivated! I'll have to post a pic in my profile ... its absolutely gorgeous there! When I did the 3.5 miles it took me about 45 min. So I'm at about a 13 minute mile ... which is better than I have EVER done in my life LOL
How do we get rid of the hips??? I have started using an ab lounger to help with my tummy ... just really struggling with the hips. My 12/14 jeans are baggy in my butt and thighs ... but fit in my waist and hips ... frustrating! lol (never thought I'd complain about that LOL)

I'd have to guess that the walking has helped tremendously. I just wi**** would help get rid of the hips LOL I was able to put on (and zip up!) a size 10 yesterday ... granted I didn't even try to sit down in them LOL But I was just happy knowing they are right around the corner!
