Topic: I've got my surgery date: 12/10/07
It's been such a process just to get this far. I originally had gone to another surgeon went to his list of Dr's and then his office never returned my calls, losing out on the gall bladder removal surgery I had to have done and the upcoming lap-band surgery.

I can't believe that I have finally gotten my date! It is soooo good to know that I am finally going to see and end to this part of the journey and be able to begin the next part of the adventure... with whatever ups & downs that come my way!
I have been doing a lot of researching about the surgery & life afterwards, but there is nothing like the advice of those who have taken the steps before. I anyone has any advice for before the surgery or after, I would LOVE to hear from you!

If all goes well and my insurance approves me I will have my Roux-en-Y bypass surgery done 12/17/07. I am excited and, of course, very nervous.
Topic: RE: What Board Is For The Support People?
Probably any one of them, but I think it makes more sense to go to your state and use it. I have been on the Texas one and there is a lot of support there.
