First off, congrats on our dates! Mine is the same as yours. Reading your profiles sounds just like my own. Only diff is 34 1/2. LOL Good luck to us both and is not the easy way out...it's the healthy way!!

Hi, Barbara and Becky - it is great to think of starting the new year with a new lifestyle! My lap RNY was just rescheduled to 12/6 so we'll be going through it together... I was scheduled for 11/27 but then there was some problem with scheduling and the OR (according to the surgeon's office) and it had to be rescheduled. Not the best news, but it only moves it out 9 days so I can deal with that. Wish you both the best of everything through all of this. Feel free to keep in touch and/or add me to your friends list if you like! We'll all be on that loser's bench before too long!

I am scheduled for the 13th as well for my RNY! I am sooo excited! I have lots of support and I think I am making the right move in my life! Good luck to everyone!

It was difficult to pick out a tiltle image. Not sure how I feel. Excited but scared & worried too. I feel like I am taking the easy way out. I am not very heavy at all but I see myself getting bigger and bigger every year. I am 35 and I would like to look good while I am still young. I do not have any children yet and so I hope I am not delaying motherhood until it's too late. I guess I could have a child when I am 37 if I really want to have a child.
