Hi Kathy! I got my date today as well as an appointment at the hospital for all the pre-op testing on December 6th. I still have to set up the appointment with my PCP for the physical, probably call first thing Monday morning to schedule it. I just found out about everything today but I'm supposed to be hearing back on Monday about the details.. like the liquid diet and the testing and everything, once I know more, I will let you know! How long have you been working at this? I've been going through everything for about 4 and a half months now.. I'm sure it will be well worth it though, I feel like I'm on cloud nine right now. I'm not really nervous yet, but I'm sure it will hit me before the day gets here.. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! Thanks for the post! Your friend, Katie

Good luck on Monday, prayers are being sent to you. I like your ppre-op pictures. I need to take some tomorrow, my new life begins on Tuesday. I am going to rest and do nothing but prep on Monday - Stay in tounh with your results.

I'm having mine the same day! I got my approval on Wednesday, my surgery date on Thursday and my pre-op test schedule today. What have they got you doing until then? I'm starting a two week liquid diet on Tuesday. I went to my nutritionist today to go over the pre-op, in hospital and post-op diets. I see my doctor on the 10th for my physical and the hospital the same day for pre-op testing. Whew, I'm tired already! Are you nervous? I am, sorta, but too excited about losing weight to let it worry me too much. Wait until the day before and I'll tell you then. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

I am on the two week complete liquid diet now and it's getting rough, on my third day and ready to have something to eat! Good grief this is tough? Any advice?
