Hi all, Okay, so I've been MIA for a while, but we all know how that goes. Life happens, stuff gets in the way and blah blah blah.....anyway.....it's been 6 months since surgery and everything is going well. So here's where I'm at with everything: Weight/Size: Down 101 pounds in 6 months!!! I've lost a total of 47 inches. My BMI has dropped 16 points, and I am now in the "overweight" category. I've went from a size 26/28 to a 14/16. I can now shop in the misses department of almost any store!!! Food: I can tolerate everything except pizza, but honestly, who needs it? The only thing I miss sometimes is soda, but that's when the sugar-free soda flavored popscicles come in handy. Health: I'm no longer on any medications, and haven't been for quite a while now. I've been fortunate enough not to have any complications or side effects from surgery. Thank goodness, no hair loss for me! The little acne problem I had early out resolved itself rather quickly too! Exercise: I usually exercise 6 days a week for a minimum of two hours. I can't believe that according to some people I know, I'm turning into the "health nut". It's a great feeling! It is so hard to believe that I've went from 20 minutes a day (every once in a while) to at least 20 miles a day almost every day. Everything looks and feels GREAT, I am soooooooo glad I did this! What about you? How's post-op life treating you? Genisis

I've gone from a size 26 to 16 and still shrinking!!! And exercise...I bought an elliptical last week. When I started...could only do 2 minutes...now up to 12-14 minute sessions;3 to 4 times/day. I know it is hard to believe it is 6 months already. I am down 72 lbs and I am now at the wieght on my DL. I went from a 22W to a 14 in pants, 1X to a L top. I am able to shop in the misses department and sometimes the jrs. I am now able to buy cute bras and panties which is nice for a change. I work out 5-6 days a week. I am up to running 2 miles. I am also taking belly dancing lessons. I can tolerate everything and anything, so I am having to be careful and listen to when I am full. I am very careful with sugar, so I do not know if I dum*****t. I had no issues up until about two weeks ago when I had pain in my upper right abdomen. I spent a week in the hospital, as they were trying to figure out what was wrong. They believe it was scar tissue. I am happy that I did this, but I am still waiting for my sex drive to return.

Congratulations Genisis and everyone else.... I think my RNY ROCKS! I still haven't thrown up once... I have to be really careful not to eat too much, because I can eat anything I want (even the toppings and a couple of bites of pizza crust)... I definately don't exercise enough, but am walking and doing the ZUMBA dance DVD... I am different person than I was 148lbs ago. I have lost 79lbs since surgery, and had lost 69lbs in the 3 months pre op. I have gone from a 5XL to a L in scrubs at work... I still have to wear a 16 in pants with buttons and zippers (lots of tummy skin- gross!), otherwise I wear a 14.... And of as today, I am no longer in the 200lb club... I am finally in Onederland!!! Considering that less than 9 months ago I was 347lbs, I could not be happier!!!!!!!!!

I have not posted on this board before. Never even looked here. Just bored tonight, so I am looking around. It is great to see that everyone is doing so good. I have lost 140 lbs. Reached goal before the end of June. I have gone from a 52" waist to a 40" waist. 3xl shirt to XL. It is just awesome. (I saved the worst for last. I have done no exercising)
