well my six month was the 18th...... it's going well! i don't throw up, only did that once in the beginning got the foamies in the beginning too... but that is long gone most of the time my pouch is nice!. but sometimes it's grouchy i have lost 64 pounds since surgury 83 since the beginning of the program and 84 inches baby!........ whoa! that just blows my mind! i think i am the slowest loser here in the group. but when i see my incehs going down, i'm happy i've gone from wearing a 24 or sometimes a 26 to now getting into 16!. yes the old navy jeans i have on today are size 16~ they have been in a box for a few years! and i'm thrilled that they are now fitting! and i can't wait til they are too big!

I just found this board and am still trying to find everything. But i just found all of you and i am 6 months out on the 13th. I am 122 # down. I still throw up about 2-6 times a week. the weight is still comming off but has slowed a lot. Not sure if that is normal or not. I feel great and cant beleve it is realy me. I lost a bout half of my hair so i am taking Biotin and that is helping. It is still thin but i think it is comming back. I am sure that i am not eating all of the right things. need to get a book. I want to make the most of life now that i have a life again. Any help will be greatly apprecated and taken to heart. Thanks to all for sharing your storys with me.

Sounds like your weight loss is going well. Sorry to hear about the exploratory surgery though. Glad you are recovering and on your way back to good health. As for my own weight loss, I'm down 101 pounds in 6 months, and enjoying living in ONEderland! Still have a bit to go before I reach goal, but at this rate, I'll be there by October/November. I would love to reach goal before my one year surgi-versary (then again, who wouldn't...lol) Of course the loss is slowing down a little bit, but that's expected (disappointing, but expected). I haven't had any real problems, and can tolerate just about any kind of food as long as I follow the rules. Of course I am now beginning to contemplate the plastic surgey journey. Still too early to tell exactly what I'll want/need done, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to start saving up for a tummy tuck and a breast lift (or I guess what I should be saying is hubby better start saving..lol). It's hard to believe how quickly everything changes, awesome, but quick! Genisis

Well, I am down 75lbs and am feeling pretty darned good. I have just started to be able to eat pretty much everything but honestly - sometimes I still drink water w/my food so it doesn't get 'stuck'. My hair had been falling out butt that stopped over the last couple of months - and I am back to my regular crazy huge mop of hair. I did have to have a stricture taken care of in the beginning but I am good again - only had to have the procedure once. Way to go everyone - It is so very nice to hear how you all are doing. It is a weird feeling of affinity isn't it?? Jen

HI, I had surgery on 12/11/07 and feel great. As of today I have lost 72.3 pounds. I, too, am losing slowly, but the inches seem to be doing just fine. I have went from a 22/24 womens to a 12 regular!!! I have never vomitted and have only felt upset twice (supposedly sf peach cobbler and ground beef). Now I tolerate just about anything. I don't eat things with more than 3 grams of sugar or fried things, so maybe that is why I don't get sick. I exercise no less than 4 times a week. Although I can't say that I love it, I don't hate it anymore because I am committed to this journey and know that it is a neccessary part. I have found that if I change things up often I don't get bored. Thanks for inquiring. Jenni
