LOW RED & WHITE BLOOD COUNT

I had surgery in dec. 2007 and had blood work done this week. It came back with both red and white count very low. The Dr. Seems to be very worried. Have any of you heard of this? Please let me know if you have. Thanks

Yes I have my cousin has also had problems with this and she had surgery 2 yrs ago! She also had low iron and ended up with iron and blood transfusions! What are your numbers do you know? I am a nurse and deal with this all the time! Did you feel tired more than usual? Good luck!

thanks for answering me. My h&h are great. I fel better than I have in 5 yrs. I see the hematologist in June. It is hard for me to belive that anything is worg with the way I feel. Thank you so musch for answering me. At least I don't feel alone now. Joy
