Weight Loss to date

I had my RNY on 12/7, today is my 4 month mark. I have lost 72 1/2 pounds so far. I was just wondering how everyone was doing with their weight loss, those that had surgery in December. I get discouraged because I feel it should be coming off so much faster. I guess I have my own inner expectations. I need to just be glad where I am right now.

I had surgery 12/07/07. I lost 25 lbs preop and 66 lbs since surgery. I lost the most my first month, then about 10 lbs a month since then.

well i'm the slowest loser of the bunch of us..........yup that's me!..........why i don't know, i do everything i am told to do... but i am loosing so i'm happy....... i have lost 47 pounds from the day of surgury on dec 18... and 19 pounds pre op. for a total of 66............. wow! i really am so much slower that most here!.. or are there a lot of losers like me that just don't post about it?

Don't feel to bad, I had surgery on 12/19/07 and I've lost 47 lbs also......... I've also had a low thyroid for years but when my surgeon did my 3 month bloodwork it came back low so he raised my medication which hopefully will increase my weight loss. I'm still happy with the fact I've lost weight, I just wi**** was more. Take care

There's a face I recognize from SBAAWLS! Hi Wendey. I had my surgery 12/19/07 and I've lost 90 lbs since surgery. Also lost 54 lbs prior to surgery, so my grand total is 144 down from my highest. Mike

Had my RNY on 12/19 and have lost 65 ponds to date! Going to the gym 3 days a week is definitely helping with the inches lost and the tone of my muscle & skin! Great Job everyone!!!!

am i the only bandster around here? lol well anyway i had the lap band on 12/20 and am down 72lbs total since 12/15

I had my surgery 12/17 and have lost 63lbs since that date. I also lost 69 lbs pre op (57 in the 2.5 months pre op)... So I am down 132 lbs total!

well glad to hear i'm not all alone with only loosing 47 pounds.......... my thyriod has been on the borderline for being low... but never have i been on any medication for it, and then my blood was checked before surgury they didn't say anything about it, but then again i didn't ask. i figured if it were really low they would sy something........ when i last measured i had lost 56 inches!. that was on march 22.... i'm looking forward to measuring on April 22 to see if i have lost any more!. so i might be slow at the pounds but my inches is AWESOME!
