workin it ~2/24-3/1 what did you do?

so.. i thought i should post up something to motivate all of us to move our bodies more. i for one NEED that!. this thread is for anyone that wants to be accountable and log in what they did each day they did something that moves there body in a postive way... i find if helpful for myself to write it down. and might movitate me and others to do it more. soooooooooooooooo this threa is starting today and will be open to post for one week. if people like the idea.. we can start a new one the following week and start posting in that one for the next week....... i like to be able to look back and see just what i did or didn't do....... soooooooo i'll be back in after i get off my elipitcal trainer! yesterday i did 22 minutes on the eliptical. today i aim for the same or more but not less how about you?

This post looked a little lonely so I thought I would chime in I haven't been able to work out for about 5 days so today was the first day up and moving around normally (WOOHOOOOO!!!). Believe it or not, I actually MISSED working out everyday (Did I just say that??????????????????????? lol). This morning I did 20 min on the treadmill with ankle weights at 3.0mph; followed by 10 min on the bike using the ankle weights (not sure what mph) at 3/4 resistance. This afternoon I am going to do my workout DVD and see if the kids join in!! How did you do on the eliptical? How is everyone else doing????? Great thread!

great job christine! today sunday 2/24 25 minutes on the eliptical( morning) 50 minute brisk walk with hubby (afternoon)

ok after reading your post..i decided it was time to move..36 degrees out, i might as well enjoy the day. I went for a long walk. About 15 minutes into the brisk walk i gained about 6.5 pounds... My lil princess (Maltese) got to cold and i had to carry her the rest of the walk. But I really enjoyed the walk, if it wasnt for the snow and ice i would have walked longer... Today, i have an appointment with my personal trainer. Thursday, i will join this cardio group and I will do something on my own..a video and see pt again on thur or Fri.

Wendy, that's funny about gaining 6.5 pounds! those little dogs are cute!.... i know all to well about that cold air! it can slow me down from wanting to get out and walk too...glad your going to join up monday 2/25 30 brisk walk

Monday I did my workout DVD wearing both ankle and wrist weights this time (and chased my kids around all day since they were both home with bad colds lol) Tuesday, again did my DVD workout ... no weights this time but did 1 1/2 miles instead of 1. And used the waist tension bands

well i went ahead and joined the Y...This week I worked on the tread mill, first day 30 minutes..second day 40...pretty soon I will be up to an hour. Monday and Friday I will continue to work with a personal trainer
