H i'm new

Hi everyone i'm new. I'm Joe Had my RNY on 12-4-07 started at 435 hoping to lose 200lbs or more. Doing great after 11 days,no problems whatso ever,even been eating solid food since day 7. w/Dr. ok Good luck all Joe ;-)

Hi Joe! Welcome to the boards! I had my RNY surgery on 12/4 also! They had a small problem during surgery with bleeding, apparently I'm a bleeder and didnt even know it! They had to go back in to stop some bleeding, so I'm still having some pain on my left side, but it is about 500x better now than it was originally! I cant believe you are on solid food already! What I wouldnt do for solid food right now! I'm still on full liquids and dont even get to move to pureed foods until Christmas Day! Best of Luck to you! Tracy

Hi Joe, Welcome I had my surgery on 12-4 also. I went back to work after 1 week I am also doing very well.I still eat pureed foods. doesn't bother me i just want to make sure my new stomach is fully healed before moving on Good luck Tracy

Hi JOe,, I had RY on Dec 3. Im still on puree food..lucky you eating solid food already. I tried a thicker soup today and I think it was too much but I feel great. The journey has been easier than I thought Thanks GOd. I hope you keep feeling good and keep us posted of your weight loss..So far I have lost a total of 50 lbs. 20lbs before surgery and 30 after...woohooo
