Starting my 5 day Clear Liquid Fast

Greetings all, Well Tmorrow I start my clear liquid fast. This I think is going to be the hardest for me. It is probably all mental. I have been waiting to have surgery for almost 10 months. Now I am less than a week away. Knowing that the Lord is with me makes it that much easier. I guess now is a time for fasting and prayer. Well I will drop a line when I go threw my bowel prep and the night before surgery. God Bless.

Rich - I wish you all the best with the clear liquids - you'll do great!! When you know it's something you have to do to get where you want to be, you'll make it! And the Lord will definitely be with you all the way... A very good time for prayer and fasting! My surgery was 12/6 and I can tell you that I just feel better every day! Hi Rich I'm having surgery a day before you. Wow you have to do a liquid fast for 5days. What a trooper! My surgeon said 3days before sensable meal, 2days before soft foods, 1 day before clear liquids. It's amazing how doctors vary in so many ways. Makes you wonder who's really right. I just trust God to impart wisdom to my surgeon and his staff through out this life long journery. God is with us and we will be fine. I just invision God holding me in his hands as I'm having surgery. Take care!

Rich, If I was able to do it Im sure you will too...it is all mental..no doubt but I guarantee you will be able to manage ..just think how great and wonderful you are going to be feeling soon..Be positive!!! And good Luck!! keep us posted!!
