wanting to have surgery

Hello, My insurance takes effect on January 01,2008. I have a question do I wait until then to start this process or should I consult a surgeon now? Also did anyone else have Aetna and was it a difficult process to get approved? Jenn

well in my opion you should go ahead and get your consultation's done as long as you don't have to pay for your visit's or anything like that....I don't have your insurance but it did take 5 months from start to finish before they tried contacting my insurance for approval and it was approved right away too.
