December 11th Surgery

I am having my lap-band surgery on December 11th and I am starting to get nervous. I start the clear liquid diet on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. I know it will be difficult and I am trying to mentally prepare for that. Is anyone else scared? I am not scared of the surgery itself I am scared of after. What if I do all this and nothing changes. Then all have done is set up me up to be very miserables

i am having lap gastric bypass on 12-11 and i am also not nervous yet about the surgery. i know that if we both follow exactly what they tell us to do that we will be successful!! i know we are having different procedures, but everyone i know that has had either surgery done has said, "do what they say!!" they give us the tools... good luck amber and keep in touch!
