Topic: Wednesday Weigh In /Weight Loss Challenge Week Four
I would like to apologize for my melt down last week. But to let you know how Jacked up my system is. From Wednesday on- i ate pretty crappy- did not work out....(not once) wanna know how much i weigh? you guessed it 206.
This is the beginning of week 4 only 2 more weeks until 09-09-09!

Topic: Nutrition Appointment
Ladies!
Ok- Here is what the nutritionist told me- Disclosure: this is what she thinks will work for Dawn- remember Dawn is still 50# overweight-so all of you teeny tinys probably dont want to do as i do...
I should still aim for 800 calories- I also gave full disclosure on my activity level as well. She said if i feel lightheaded or not satisfied ...actual hunger (not head hunger) that we can bump it up. I was so confused going in this morning that whatever she would have said would have been okay with me- i will try anything.
My 09-09-09 is still ON- but i am refocusing - we will see how i do by 09-09-09 but that is not the end of it. I have another appt for 9-11-09 with Nut so- i am glad that i started this.

Had a momentary Frustration Breakdown- But I am still committed. I am going to the Nutritionist today...9 am --and whatever she tells me I will listen to...EVEN if it is STOP drinking Diet Dr Pepper.
I had a chemical peel on Thursday and dr told me i could not work out for 4 days....which played right in to my frustrated breakdown ha ha ha.....but seriously y'all i dont quit that easily. I am obviously a bit misguided somehow and i am fixing to figure it all out. Thanks for your support.....I love you Mel....you are the best cheerleader ever- i might have to get you your own uniform and pom pons. More later!

Still not back to tracking but trying to be more mindful and it is helping. I feel a teensy bit more in control, that's nice however small progress it is. Am working at kicking those simple carbos myself. Amazing how we went from being so religiously strict about not eating them a year or more ago to watching them creep back into our lives, isn't it? I am trying not to stress or be guiltful about it and just be realistic. It's in our world, it has consequences and it has to be a conscious decision to allow it or not.
Really feels like summer is winding down here...that sort of dread of the colder weather and at the same time a relief that the hot days are about to be past. Weird? I worked this weekend and now am going to dinner w/folks (Spaghetti Factory...ick). Have checked their menu online and figure I'll order the chicken caesar salad...that seems to be all I ever eat anymore when we go out. It gets old but this time I'm taking my own dressing and toppings so at least I will be in control of that. It isn't what I eat that is important anyway, it is going out and having fun with family.
Gotta leave in half an hour, guess I should get stuff ready for work tomorrow and then get ready to go. School starts for Sam this week...can't believe it!

Everyone.... anyone???? Dawn is doing fantabulous with journaling her intake and exercise, I am so proud of her!!!
She has inspired me to start tracking again too! There is now an OH food tracker under health tracker! It is awesome. You can export data into an excel spread sheet (it does it all for you!)
Be sure and check it out!!!

Sorry the scale has you bummed this week, it is easy to say don't let it get you down cause I know IT DOES! You can beat that thing, you are working so hard that it is bound to start giving you better numbers again. Hope that your nut. will be able to help you soon.
I had a nice shock this morning but am not getting ****y...thought I'd have a gain from all the eating and coffee-drinking on the weekend. Gotta be good so that it doesn't rebound-sneak-up-on-me. Does that make any sense? It's happened before, at any rate.

Hot, hot, hot here today...I gotta head outside away from my new bestest friend, the air conditioning, and refill the birdbaths. It actually feels good to go out and warm up and then come back in to get cold again. LOL! Without WLS (ok, and my a/c too) i'd be praying for summer to hurry up and end already. Been there, done that....

Hang in there Dawn.
I think u need to take all your calories and logging sheets to your nut.
I also think you need to get your RMR/BMR tested. Google Newleaf technology and there is a place u can put your zipcode in.
I also want u to make sure your thyroid is ok... have u had it tested?
I always lost around my period before when I was in the losing phase.
