Hooray for getting rid of your good leftovers, Diana! Thanks for the heads up about the main board, I don't go there often and especially stay away when they are feuding.
I would love to see your Guac. recipe...that is the only way DH will eat avacados and even tho they are so high in calories they are good for you too. There is one hanging around my kitchen this weekend waiting to be eaten. I got some sprouts and a ww pita and will have a splurge of a veggie sandwich today or tomorrow. (grazing on Costco strawberres right now)
It's going to be 100 today...I have a fan aimed right at my computer.

I think its a very sound plan but for me the carbs would be too high I think because of cravings.. Gosh I wish I could get that figured out. Maybe I will give it a try once I get stabalized here. I haven't seen the youtube videos of his, interested in seeing them. I have went to his website and followed his posts a lot. He gets a lot of slack on OH and almost left a couple times. Too bad, he has a lot of sound advice backed by good research and data to support his nutritional and exercise/workout claims. Many I do agree with I just wish my body would let me go there.. maybe its something I am doing wrong? who knows..
I can't hear the videos as the sound is messed up on my computer but will want to see them as soon as I get that fixed or get my new computer.. its an apple! I wanna try it as I am into the ipod stuff a lot now.
I will have to look at this more.. thanks for the link! Are you gonna try it?

Thanks Diana! I am trying hard.
You can do it Diana! Keep up the good work!!!! Being busy does help a lot.. I am making myself busy which of course keeps me more away from the boards.. its hard, you can't win sometimes.. I wish I could make it ALL happen.

Thanks for the update. I am very interested in what your Doc has to say, as I've also had rapid weight loss issues. My bloodwork showed low Vit A, C, D, and Pantothenic Acid (B5) so my supplements were increased again. I eat "clean & healthy" as you described, but I was recommended to keep my proteins at 75-80g / day so that I won't over-tax my liver function. I'm boney... and not happy about it. I'll be glad to check out your pic. Keep me posted! Thanks again, Esteban!

I still need to see those pictures that you promised... THAT'S really why I came back.

I'm pretty much eating all the damned time now... only good foods, tho. Little sugar, little fat, mostly healthy. And lots of protein. I think that I might be drinking a little soon after meals tho. That might be keeping me from getting all the nutrition that I can. So for the next few months, I'm going to be slammin the protein shakes to see if it helps any.
My son from Florida visited and didn't want to say anything to my face, but when he got home, he called his sister (my daughter) in Arkansas and told her that he was concerned about how much I was losing. I was already starting to get a bit concerned because after having been at 155 for several months, I all of a sudden dropped to 145. And looking closely and comparing pictures, I do seem a little more "boney". I'll post a picture soon and you can tell me what you think, ok?
I guess you're having the same issues that I am but I honestly think that I'm eating a little more than 2000 cal a day... maybe as much as 2600.
So, anyway, we'll just keep talking and maybe we'll figure this out. I've got an 18 month appt coming up and I intend to grill my Dr. to find out what he thinks. I'm also curious about what my bloodwork is going to show...

Maybe you can try turning the tables on them - watch them like a hawk, too! Turn it into a game - whoever stops doing it first loses... Or, you can call them on it and tell them that they can stop worrying about you; that you're OK now.
But if you want them to keep on doing it because it helps keep you on track, you can play a fantasy game where you're the celebrity and they're watching you because they admire you and want to BE you!
I guess it was good that you kept to yourself - I was RIGHT OUT THERE when I was HUGE. So now I get lots of second and third takes - you can imagine how humorous it can be to see someone do a third-take... and then I get to say, "YEAH, IT'S ME!", to which they imediately respond, "OH MY GOD". And then I get to tell them all about it. Sometimes it gets a little old when I have to do it several times in a row. But I always end up realizing how lucky I am that I even GET TO TELL THE STORY!!!
Just keep on keeping on and eventually everyone in the world will have forgotten the big old you and only know and love the new, luscious you that we all know and love...
Hope someone lets you know that you are truly special today and that it makes you smile, if even just on the inside...
Steve
