Topic: RE: Beck Discussion - Day 14
"Resistance Here"... OK, Mel. When you mentioned a long time ago that you planned ahead, I thought there is no way that I could do that or would even want to try to do it. I now realize that it works for you, but I'm still resistant to planning ahead. What I have come up with is several "safe" meal items that are frozen in single, RnY-minded serving size packets.... meats, rices, sides, veggies and Fudgsicles!
Honestly, I know that planning ahead is KEY and am willing to plan; just resistant to it!

Topic: RE: Back in the Saddle Again!
I just restarted my walking, which I really missed and need for muscle tone and bone density. It's a keeper! As for the eating, NIGHT eating helps "slow the loss" a bit. I eat at all hours of the day and night... into the morning again... 24-hour-eater! My Nut said that eating peanut butter is a good addition to help keep weight on also. I've been eating Nature Valley's Nut Crunch bars (almond flavor), which tastes like nut brittle with less sugar. Yum!

My Mistake... You were talking about Body Fat Testing. Mine was 30.5 in April. I'm still around the same weight as then: up & down... and have started walking again. DH & I went on a short hike to a local "over-look" today that was so pretty and right in our "backyard". It took about 20 minutes to find a beautiful view... with no huffing or puffing!

Jeans can make you very happy OR very unhappy... Put them away if they're bugging you! Dieting with your daughter is a great idea. Elizabeth is probably afraid of gaining since a lot of college students do gain! The Freshman 15 is not a myth! Do you have to be tested for your BMI? I thought that using the BMI calculator at the bottom of the RnY MB home page was good enough! Let me know.

Thanks Shawn! You are way too nice! Not sure I deserve all the "cheer" but I will take it as a good ego lift! You guys all inspire me on here.. I wish I could come around more often, but I do what I can when I can. I really need to dust that beck book out and get back into that.. hopefully this week sometime!
Hope you are having a good weekend.... "be like me when you grow up.." you are a silly silly girl. Lol.. thanks again. Loves and hugs!

Ya know, sometimes u just have to do that.. put em away. I totally understand. You will get there soon enough. Just keep working at it.. its all we can do.
Wow on your daughter!!! That is good that the two of you can support each other!! Awesome.. a buddy always helps tremendously! I have a couple online and it really makes all the difference in the world.. we check in daily and have for a while now.
I had my body fat tested and it was 23% at a year out and then on the cruise ship 16.9%.. thinking that was OFF.. I will have to have it done again. I want to have my BMR tested again and that is when I had my body fat tested the first time. I may do this at my two year I am thinking when things slow down for DH.. we have to go out of town to do this.. 3 hours away and last time got a hotel.
I got measured at the gyno yesterday.. I am 5'4" and a quarter.. so my BMI is even higher! Ack! I wanna be tall! lol.. oh well. We can't have it all can we? lol..

Topic: RE: The Wagon Plan
He has a website, I believe its wagonplan.com.. or do a google search for it. He also has the link on his profile on OH and that is how I have accessed it in the past.
See my reply to Molly above.. my thoughts on it all.. good and for me personally not so sure I can handle all the carbs he introduces..
Hope you are having a good weekend! Loves and hugs!
