Hope you don't have to add a potassium pill! Glad to hear that your weight is coming back down too. Mine too....whew! Hope to keep peeing it out this evening since I did eat some high-sodium foods today. Sheeeeeet!
We only have a handful of long-term postops at our monthly support groups and of all of them (less than 10) only one has become an exercise junkie so I am with you on that being a dirty word. I just do it because I have to, I have really tried to love it but...nope!

HAH! I drink so much water now, I can't EVER pee it off
I used to be lucky to do 64 ounces a day, now I'm ranging closer to 160. My PA is having me eat more potassium based foods, because of the water uppage, she thinks I'm flushing my potassium. *crosses fingers* Cause, I really don't want to add a potassium pill to the other vitamins.
Weight had gone up, but it's slowly dropping back off. Was at 155 this morning, back from 159 high last week. So, we'll see tomorrow.
And exercise is still a dirty word, Molly!

I did a double take, thinking I'd wandered in to the wrong forum.
We finally got UPGRADED!! WOOOT!
Speaking of which, no, still not hit goal and still not planning on it. But, will be updating my pictures hopefully over the 5 day vacation I have coming up this weekend.
Oh, adding a favorite light SPICY chicken soup I make for this time of year:
1 can Italian style stewed tomatoes (chunk or sliced, your choice)
1 can vegetable broth
1 zucchini
1/2 a bag of presliced carrots
1 small yellow onion (thinly sliced/diced, your preference)
1 can tomato paste or 1 large can tomato sauce
1 bag frozen mixed veggies of your choice (I like the one with broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, beans, etc.)
2 chicken breasts
1-2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp season salt
2 tsp ground pepper
1 tbs sweet basil
2 tsp oregano
Salt (or not, your choice again) I use Sea Salt.
Secret Ingredient: Korean Fire Oil (in the Authentic Food aisle)
I usually take my medium soup pot, fill 1/4 way full with water, and add the can of veggie broth, chuck in the chicken, seasonings, and herbs (I use fresh if I'm not being lazy). Bring to rolling boil, turn down and let chicken cook for about 15-20 minutes, until fully cooked through. Pull chicken out and cool (to cube), add in rest of the fresh or frozen veggies (just depends on time of year and my level of laziness), and bring back to a good boil. Add chicken and tomato paste (or sauce), add any needed water to thin to the consistency you want, turn down and simmer, adding the final SECRET ingredient! Korean FIRE OIL! I suggest add a few splashes at a time, then test for your taste tolerance.
I make this for me, then wind up beating Ray off of it, even though he protests and says he hates "spicy" foods.

Topic: RE: Costco Lettuce Wraps
So $100 later (and a new pair of size 4 Dockers..woohoo!) the trip to Costco yielded no lettuce wraps for Miss Molly. Aparently they are so delicious that everybody else bought them all.
Well, I have to return the size 6 pair that was too big so hopefully they'll restock the wraps when I go back. :sniff, sniff:

Topic: Exercise for Beatriz!
Ok Beatriz!! I had a four hour shift today (followed by 2 hours of shopping, can I add that in for exercise? haha) so I am about to get on the treadmill as I told you about before.
How 'bout you now?
Who else is getting in a little extra exercise today? Come on, weigh in is tomorrow...chug some water and join me in trying to work off (and pee off!) a little more weight.
Molly....the Tuesay Terror!

Thanks for that info. I could calulate it that way too then. I have to do something as well. I don't dump and I can eat anything! So I need to keep it in check.

ohhhh, good to know- btw each "point" is worth 50 calories so i guess i would need to go down to 18 per day then....Thanks for the info and let me know how it goes for you.......I just knew/know i have to do something!

My nutritionist told me that to keep losing, I have to stay at around 900 calories a day. I'm gonna order the stuff online, I have several neighbors doing it and we can help each other out too.
Topic: RE: Scary 'News' at Supp. Grp
Maybe this is just me- but i am only allowed 23 points which translates to 1150 calories (i asked the leader) I am not eating the additional 35 'floating' points that are extra throughout the week but honestly i am not having any trouble with the 1150--
i swear prior to going i was probably eating WAY more than 1150! So far so good.....my eyes are still bigger than my stomach though-today i had this gigantic lunch packed with a 2oz ham and low fat cheese on high fiber bread, a side salad and a yogurt......you must be kidding....i couldnt even make it through the sandwich!
My intention is to go to WW like an alcoholic goes to AA just to keep in check...of course until i hit goal......i have to pay so first things first as they say....
