... I floated on some kind of scooter in a dream once, but others in the dream were doing it too.  I've had a lot of mixed up dreams where I'm in one house then another... and some dreams with old friends and some who have passed away.  A few I just was lost inside a school or building; mostly frustration going on in my dreams!

Maybe you just really want to change jobs, Molly!   Seems sad that it is a repetitive dream.  Did you ever HAVE to run away from some kids when you were young???  I did, but they were older and caught me... meanies gave me some lumps!  As a kid, I had a repetitive dream about it.
Chubby kids don't run fast enough...  Wwaaa    I haven't thought about that in many years...

Hi Ro, what's up? thanks for sending a search party but I am sure they had a little difficulty finding me with so many "hurricanes" down in this area.

I am so tired of hearing that word,,,,,,go away, go away is all I can say about it....but thank goodness it looks like IKE is NOT coming my way.

The rest of my life is as usual,,,,,work, home, kid, husband and school---it can be a little too boring but this weekend is looking good in the entertaiment section since I already had a nice dinner party last nite, have another event tonite and maybe friends over tomorrow. Exciting? it sure was not as exicting last weekend when I spent 48 hrs in my PJ's and under a terrible mood.

My eats are all over the place but my scale seems to love me b/c it stays around the same weight all the time....it scares me

I sure hope you at least get an interview so you can personally show them how well prepared you are for this job.  Good Luck and keep us informed.

I was just about to post a message asking where the heck you have been!  You posted just in time.
It is awesome news about the new clinic.  It is a perfect position for you.  I think you would be such a wonderful influence on your patients, but I also think it would be very good for you.  It will keep you on track and address any eating problems.  I cannot wait to hear.  PLEASE keep us updated on if/when you get an interview, how it goes, any calls....WE WANT A PLAY BY PLAY!!!!

I have been super busy too and not posting too much lately, but I do watch out for everyone on here to see how everyone is doing.

Take care,

Terisa

...in your dreams?  Just curious if anybody here runs in their dreams.  Woke up this morning dreaming that I needed to run to make it on time for the time clock at work (more work dreams, ugh) and as always my legs were thick like logs and so heavy that lifting each one was a tremendous struggle.  Running in dreams has been like this my whole life.  Odd that this far out from weight loss it hasn't changed.

Also, I never fly.  Don't most people fly in their dreams?

Must be some deep, dark, psychological compound.  Anybody have the answer?  LOL!

Awrighty, gonna have that cup of herbal tea and then try to get back to sleep.  I'd grab a kitteh or two but they aren't very snuggly.  Being babies still (even though their bodies are gettiing bigger) they'd much rather play, play, play anytime 'mom' is awake.

My surgeon's bariatric coordinator was discussing the ulcers with me once and mentioned that post-op ulcers do take longer to heal so you have to be patient and a good eater.  No sharp, scratchy, acidic or spicy foods.  (Uh, everything that makes life good besides chocolate!)

I still have my ulcers, just keep them mostly healed and they flare from time to time but easily squelched and re-healed again now.  Couldn't be the excess coffee consumption or the excess stress????

You are right about Ambien but so far I haven't found any evidence that I'm doing anything weird at night. Usually if I need it, I only use half a tablet and these aren't the double-layer type so I don't sleep heavily with them anyway.  It is pretty easy to wake up in the night with them but I feel alert when I do that and any eating I do I *know* and am making a conscious bad choice to do.  (usually nsa ice cream!)

Wasn't it someone from our group here who took Ambien and then woke up to find she'd shaved er, where the sun don't shine?  Or was it someone from the RNY board?  Anyway....that's a big fear for me.  No midnight shaving yet!  Although, I wouldn't mind waking up to smooth legs sometime.  Seems like it'd save time in the morning.

Funny about waking up and baking....I actually do that some weekends just so that I stay on my normal body-clock schedule.  In fact, here it is 5 a.m. and I'm typing instead of going back to bed.  Well, after a cup of herbal tea I'll do just that but missed you and wanted to check in today.

That same friend of Sam's is spending the night...wish I could think of something funny to make them for breakfast but am feeling lazy today and think they can just 'bach it and have cold cereal.  I normally always cook a big breakfast on the weekend at least once.  No trouble not eating it, I have my cc pancakes or waffles to look foward to!

Hugs!

Wow, Melissa---that is so exciting!  I will be crossing fingers for you and hope that you go get the interview.  You will surely impress them with your committment, knowledge and positive personality.

Hope you had fun at your concert.  Have a great weekend at work!
