Molly,

Thanks so much for the support.  It's nice to know you are all still out there.  I got pretty busy moving to DC from Germany, became a grandma and haven't taken alot of ME time.  I'm back now and will keep you all posted on my "Transplanted" success.  I got the band in Italy so the DC docs got to see what the other side of the world is doing.

I am also familiar w/Sembach as I lived in Kaiserslautern for some time too.  The whole place is beautiful and wonderful.  But I am glad to be in the land where I can read all the street signs!!!!

You keep up the great work on yourself and I'll meet you all the way!!!!

Kind regards,
Lynnell

Hi Lynnell!  Welcome...we are happy to have another smiling face around here.  Sorry I can't answer any of your questions, I'm a revision to RNY from VBG but I will cheer for you.  My surgeon's practice is just starting its bandings program so it will be exciting seeing even more new faces at support group and watching more people successfully improve their health.

Loved your Heidelberg picture!  We visited there a few times when DH was stationed at Sembach AB.   Of course, I was much heavier and didn't have the energy to climb around that I'd have if we got to visit there now.  Maybe someday when the kids are all grown.

Best of luck to you when you get your next fill, be sure to hang out here with us whenever you can so we can share in your progress or kick a little fanny if you need it.  (And you can help kick a little fanny around here for the rest of us when we need it too!)

Wow!  I never even looked at that before and now wish I had...did it used to be a much longer list?  Yikes, it looks like OH has trimmed us down to a little dying breed here.  Say it ain't so!

I don't know about doing a directory but I would love to do like we did last year with a Christmas card list.  It was so much fun getting a card from other Dec. sibs and especially seeing all the lovely family and individual photos too.

You are doing great, Ro and definitely a good ol human like all of us.  Don't you find it amazing that there are post-ops out there (of all wls types) who aren't obsessing like the rest of us?  I know we don't all obsess the same way but I can think of one lady who had surgery about three months before me and NEVER attends support group meetings.  She just doesn't 'need' it.  That floors me!

Obsessing with that ferris wheel is something we would do anyway whether we were postops or not and like you say, w/o the surgery there'd be the worsened health issues too.

I'm so sorry to hear that being stuck is bugging you, glad you came here to get it off your chest.  Hump Day is my least favorite day to weigh...why can't it be the lowest day of the week?   Seems I always dip down on Sat. or Sun. and then climb back up.  It's that snacking...ugh.

Had flu or food poisoning last night.  Vomiting, diarrhea, fever-ick.  Maybe that will help me on Weds.   Feeling better now but pouchie still hurts.  It is just sick to hope for a good weigh in from illness, no matter how minor.  LOL

Hugs!
Molly

See.... How crazy is that????   There were a few people who posted / reply every once in a while, but they are still a part of the Dec MB.  Now what?  I'd rather have the Dec Members listed than the different forum members listed.  At least, we knew who had surgery with us.

If OH had to truncate for space, keep the monthly and state MB lists and ditch the other forums!

What's with the Truncated Members List????

Did any one else notice that our Dec. '06 member list has been truncated?  Did this occur when the newest version, whi*****ludes the new tool bar was installed?  I wanted to check-in with some buddies... but they are no longer listed on the left side bar.

  What's a girl to do???
