Hi, T!...  Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayer...
I'll keep you posted.  Really hope that it's just 1) testing... been through that already so it's a breeze... 2) brief wait... 3) followed by Good News

Seems like 1, 2, 3... isn't a given, but that sure would make me smile!

Ro,,, living in florida is great even with the hurricanes, but it can be a little too much when all you see on the TV set is hurricane related. Thank goodness it looks like we have some calm waters for a few days....

Yes, I am scared of regaining.....do not want to deal with weight gain one more time in my life. I wish to put that behind me forever and ever....its possible but I am trying my hardest not to get there.

How is DS behaving these days? what about DH?

Topic: RE: Truncated Members List????

The list was very long!  If think that everyone who started a post was listed since the beginning of this MB... maybe those *****plied also.  Looking at the truncated list, it looks like the change occurred in August!  Only Dec members who started a post are listed now; not those who have replied.  Seems like a big loss.  Imagine being ERASED!!!  Well, if members felt like they didn't "belong" before... they probably won't be thrilled that their "history" is no longer stored in that section.   For weekly contacts, the original member list was really helpful.  It was easy to contact others, using the list WITH pic.  Now... who knows???

Seems that the OFF MB has a directory, but I'm not part of it.  They mentioned it recently.  Wonder if they started it due to OH's new format  & member list deletion.

Dying Breed...  So Sad!!!  Wasn't that what we had hoped to avoid in the first place!!!!

The Christmas card list is a good option.
Something to  about!!

Terisa,   I'm scheduled for the 2nd CT Scan on Thursday AM and feeling a lot of relief that I finally got up the nerve to make the appointment!   Hoping to have the results within a week, but it might take a bit longer since it will be compared to the June CT.  I have a good amount of energy and no pain... which help me keep a brighter outlook.  I'll be sharing the info... hopefully all good!

Molly,  Yikes!!!  Sounds like you were pretty sick... sure hope that your OK now!    AND that you get the big drop in Lbs (if that little fairy can help make it so... LOL)

Thanks for the words of encouragement!  Hump Day Stinks for everyone, when Weigh-in might mean a gain.  I like your idea about posting the week's lowest weight.  Most of the time we are dealing with water weight if the Lbs are "up".  Using the week's lowest weight would give us a different focus... basically, a break in the regular routine.  We could post our best, which would reinforce making the best choices for the entire week.

Hey, I think that most THIN people also obsess about what they eat.  They'd probably admit it too, if anyone asked them!

Topic: RE: Lap band fills
Just a thought... some past posts might have part of the answer that your looking for so here's a link to scan through for info from other OH members, who discussed second band fills...

http://www.obesityhelp.com/search/?q=second+fill+band&cx=000 946886326336472648%3Ae-vpeg4uyxw&cof=FORID%3A9&sa=Search#105 9

BTW, at last months support group meeting, it was discussed that our hospital was currently performing more Bands than RnYs.  It might be because there has been an insurance shift, but the exact reason was not noted.

Months ago I heard a rumor about a company that planned to offer quick fills for Band clients.  Have you heard anything about this?

Let us know what the difference in eating is after your fill-up.
