OMG... You ARE SO Lucky to have been there! DROOOLLLL... What an experience that must have been... and to hold him, newly born... first breathes... priceless!
It's great being a Grandma... because we know that a lot of our Mommy days were stressed-out, but now we're pros and can really enjoy the new little life that just joined the family. I'm with you on the eating 'em up!! So much fun!!
It's hard to say good-bye... and three weeks will probably feel like an eternity! Your daughter must be getting a kick-out of seeing you holding and cuddling him... after all that's what you did with her... very warming and touching.
Sending her home??? Not a chance that she'd fall for it... Nice Try!

I HAVE MISSED POSTING HERE OOOHHHHH THE MADNESS I HATE THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON HERE SUCH A DEPRESSION NOT TO MENTION MY JOB DRIVING ME INSANE. i NEED A JUMPSTART CHECK THIS OUT I JOINED A GYM AND HAVE BEEN GOING ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR NEARLY A MONTH I AM TRYING BUT I AM JUST SO FRUSTRATED.

Thanks so much for that i eat alot of protein and I still am hungery alot. i keep telling myself its all in my ming but dosent always work. thanks so much for responding means alot as I do not have a support group and my husband is gonne for a year in the miltary.

Glad you found your way over here. Seems that we are all on the same page right now. I think we are all struggling with food, wanting to eat everything that we ate before, the things that got us obese in the first place. I know I find myself hungry now and want to eat junk, I want to eat even when I am not hungry. I can see how people gain the weight back after a couple of years.
If anyone figures out the secret to getting our heads and pouches back to the way they were right after surgery please share!!

Hi everyone I have been on this site for along time and never knew this was here. I had my RNY on Dec 18th of 2006 it was the begining of a new life for me. So how are all of you doing do you guys struggle with hunger cause I do. I didnt tell about year out. Im still at 128 but Im getting scared to gain anything dont ever want to be that girl again. Any advice would be great .
