PMS time was esp hard for me during my losing phase. Towards the end I gave in and let myself have 300 extra calories that day. For me it was my body saying I needed more fuel. It didn't hurt my weight loss. I had SF fudgesickles, pudding and cocoa overed nuts, choc protein shakes or a protein bar. It is very hard during that time. I came to the concusion I would give in for indulgent "legal" treats up to 300 cals for one-two days. Not sure this is the best answer, but it was what worked for me.

LOL! This is what I get for not being around here much anymore. And it is so stinkin true!!!
pretty much my current strategy this summer has been to stuff my face any and all times I'm home. A nibble here, a tiny handful of something else there.... So a new strategy has got to be to set a plan in place.
And I gotta plan...my hours have been drastically cut at work and I'll be here in the danger zone 'aka home' a lot more. One good thing I did this summer (but it hasn't really started yet) was to co-join a local gym with another support group member. We are going to be taking water aerobics classes from yet another one of our members who is currently VERY PG and VERY BOSSY.
However, the club is experiencing some problems and one thing or another the pool is closed and I haven't made it over to the place they are renting for a substitute. I promise it will happen and then I think it will be easier to let other smart things fall in place behind the extra exercise.
Smart things like Actually Planning My Daily Intake. That's a good goal, doncha think?

Yes, advance planning helps. OH now has a nutrition tracker and water intake tracker etc - I have yet to look at it but how cool is that???
