If I were younger, I would go for it, but I figure lots of 56 year olds are more saggy than me so I don't let it bother me...too much anyways. I think the skin on my thighs look a bit elephanty but other than that I think I made out better than some do because I am tall at 5'10'. I would love to have perky breasts so if I ever marry rich, I could ask for them as an anniversary present.

Just want to wish you the best during your surgery.  I just know you are going to feel better after you get the extra skin removed.  Wonder how much more weight you will lose when they take the skin off?

I do have to say you are a brave soul to post the pre-op pictures (I could never have done it) LOL  Can't wait to see the final results.

Thanks for the wishes :) I appreciate it.  I have no idea how much skin I will have removed and not sure my surgeon has a clue.  At one point he said 10-15 lbs now he says "more than 5 less than 10"?  I am thinking at least 7.. but we will see.

Yeah I know pretty brave but I want to continue to be transparent with this journey it is the only way we help people to the best extent I feel.. and even then its hard to do but I chose to do it and its done now lol.

It is amazing what we're able to hide under our clothes, and the things that annoy us, but no one else seems to notice because of our clothing.  My stomach bugs me, but it's not quite to the point yours is yet, Mel, but then again, I've always been 5-7 lbs from goal, and never under.

But OMG, I hate to run and hear that "slap" sound!  WHAT THE HELL!  That's what always amazed me about your and your jogging   I love to jog/run, but can't stand the "slap, slap" and hate getting heat rash from trying to bundle it up in support.  My best friend hates her "elephant thighs" (as she calls them) that she acquired after her RNY.

My main bone of contention is my arms.  I'd rather have one long scar and be minus the batwings and stretch marks.

You rock for posting your before pics, and I can't wait to see your after pics.  If I don't blind someone with the great, white, bump.. I'll have the hubby take a pic of me in the bikini top and shorts.  It's definitely not as brave as your pictures, but it will make you chuckle   My dang daughter is still breech, and I'm beginning to feel like a hot air balloon.

Will be thinking of you and lots of positive healing energy definitely headed your way.  Just like when Bea had her surgeries.
