Photos & 3 Glucose Tolerance Test
I put them under my profile under Pregnancy. The "bump" pictures, as well as the surprise Baby Shower the girls at work managed to pull off. 60 women and they managed to keep a secret. I'm STILL impressed almost a week later.
I packed everything back up, after the shower, and after THREE trips to the Durango, got it all loaded and brought home. Hubby then got to eat his baby shower cake the girls sent him, read our "Advice Journal", and then open the presents all over again! He was so tickled.
I'm in the process of writing my Thank You notes now.
Friday, wasn't fun. On Monday the OB called and said my 1 hour GTT was slightly elevated so he wanted me to do the 3 hr GTT. I told him that Dr. Coates' office said I probably wouldn't be able to tolerate it, but I'd give it the college try. I did, and didn't tolerate it. 23 minutes after drinking the glucose, it all came back up. So, now waiting to see if OB just wants me to ***** my finger throughout the day, or do another 1 GTT further along in the pregnacy (we're 30 weeks today), or what. The glucose and subsequent also led to an all day migraine, plus a lovely episode in the evening. TMI, yet?
Okay, baby is signaling it's time for nap. We're going to trudge around the Celtic Faire tomorrow, so have to be well rested. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.
And yes, we did gain this week. 3 lbs, after gaining nothing last week. So, we're at 186.6 lbs, starting pregnancy weight was 153.

Oh, incredibly gorgeous bump!!! Thank you so much for sharing them. I'm so happy for you and grateful to get to see your progress.
I'm very impressed that 60 women kept the baby shower a secret at work. They really love you!
Hope you did ok at the Celtic Faire and got a good rest in afterward. So glad that you are able to get some nap time in now when you both need it so much.
Hugs!
Molly

We had a blast at the Celtic Faire. Literally. They set off the cannons and startled Caitlin awake. She did such a startle, it doubled me over. LOL She did like a four way punch/kick. My friend Zoe was laughing at me, cause I was laughing, because those cannons went off, and the baby who had been swayed to sleep by all my walking was right back awake. Oh well. Hehehe
She proceeded to punch, kick, wiggle for the hour ride home. Not a happy kiddo.
Was a good day though. Every vendor booth that had clothing, had to make the pregnant lady try something on, to show everyone how versatile the outfits were. Somewhere around here, I have me in a female pirate coat, the half kind with tails in the back, but hooks under the breasts. Should see the bump on that one! Managed to get a bit of a burn/tan, even with sunscreen on, so I wasn't as pale as usual for St. Patty's day.
Then we came home and dad put us down to nap for 3 hours, and climbed in with us, since he caught my cold, which he's now given back to me. Blech. I give up, going to the doctor tomorrow, with hubby in tow, to see if we can't clear up this stupid congestion and ick, once and for all, for the season.
