At home today, cleaning and organizing while I wait for the new mattress to be delivered.  If I'd known it was going to run this late into the morning I could have just stayed at work and not wasted vacation time.  Oh well...I will be thrilled when it gets here, hopefully soon.

Support group was last night (we have 2 a month now) and very sad to say goodbye to our bariatric coordinator.  She is moving on to a different job and will be so sorely missed.  She always motivated us and sent us out armed with more information, inspiration and  drive to keep on losing or maintaining weight.  I wish her all the best.

Well, I did not meet my little mini goal for the week but I am down so that is GREAT!!! Lat night I was sooo BAD. My husband was "laid" off from his job and he was not expecting it at all even through they were having lay offs.

Congrats on getting that scale moving down, even tho you didn't meet your mini goal.  Still great and hope you will continue to keep working toward it now with this additional stress in your life.  I'm so sorry to hear about DH's job situation  I'll add you to my prayers and hope that he finds a new position soon.

Big hugs!

Molly

Aw, sorry to hear you think you are up.  Is year two post-op supposed to be such a roller-coaster year?  I'd love to see some 'insider' info on the typical things that happened to other post-ops year by year.  We will all hang in there, have a good week and hope for the best next Wednesday.

Can't wait to stretch out on the new bed tonight, it has been months since I've been able to sleep in my own room (without Ambien!).  Hope to wake up with a very happy back in the morning.  :)

You have a great night's sleep too!

Things are good.  I got to see all my old friends from my previous jobs since highschool this week (also were my good friends as well as coworkers) it was a blast and 98% of them didn't even know who I was.. cool but strange all at the same time.

Have a good rest of the week! I will be returning on Friday just in time to work the weekend :)
Hugs, Melissa

Glad you had a fun trip, sorry you have to get right back to work as soon as you get home but there is something to be said for keeping up the normal routine, too.  This is my weekend to work which isn't fun but I sure do enjoy the following weekend being a 3-day'er for compensation.  It's all good.

The new mattress is heavenly but only for *my* back.  It is bothering DH but he says he isn't worried, he'll adjust to it.  Awww.....  When I lay down on it, I just feel my whole body go 'ahhh...'.    When we get around to, er, adult activity (ahem) on it will be interesting to see how different it is.  I saw a blip of something (on an internet mattress rating site) about it being a lot different with this type of mattress.

Have a good work weekend!
