day three of back to being good/fighting re-gain
o.k., on day 1 i consumed about 600 cals and lost 8 lbs (down from 143.5 to 135.5)
on day 2 (yesterday), i consumed about 600 cals and was up 0.5lbs to 136.
the goal for the new few days is to stay under 1200 cals/day.
p.s. i typically maintain at around 2000cals, gain if go over (which i can easily do if i don;t wach it--not as bad as when i was a pre-op bottomless pit) but the honeymoon is definitely over.
WLS definitely did its job but now i can no longer rely on it as a tool--the honeymoon is definitely over-i can only rely on myself and i can do it.

Hope you will keep fighting the good fight, Natalie...I am trying to ride your coattails! It was the best day I've had by far in a long time and I really appreciate you putting your posts out here to help the rest of us. Haven't finished journalling for the day but I think I am easily going to come in under 1400 which hasn't happened for me in awhile. Bet the body will be very appreciative tomorrow even if I don't see it on the scale right away. (don't want to jinx myself)
