Thursday Accountability
I'm Back...sorry I disappeared for a few days. Family drama. Let's just say I now have 3 kids! My 17 1/2 YO nephew has been with me for a couple of years now. He is more like having a roomie that doesn't pay rent. But, he went to visit his sister and take her a new cell phone G-daddy bought for her (she was in OKC which is 90 miles from us BTW). While there her egg-donor cause some drama and the plice get called out (by the kids, tell me who the grown up is here?). They threaten to take sis (14 YO) to juvie because egg-donor says she started the trouble and she doesn't want her there. They call me (the kids) and I say just bring her home with me. Had to enroll her in school and still waiting to hear back from child services about the rest.
When I did foster care I use to call family members jokingly everytime I got a placement and say "It's a girl!" or "It's a boy!" Kept them on there toes. Dad use to say he did not have time to adjust, no 9 months to wait with me so you better stay alert.
So now I have a 17 YO, 14, YO and 4 YO. OMG! Can anyone say..."Calgon, take me away"?
Back to my plan for the day. all the Halloween chocolate is gone now, BTW. Only thing left is the icky stuff like suckers and tootsies so no temtations there.
B- protein shake
S- coffee w/ SF creamer
L- chili
S- rice cake with PB
D- chicken fake fried...gonna dip the chick in egg and crunched up fried onions and bake in the oven...never done it before but sounds delish to me!
S- yogurt w/ frozen BB's (been missin my BB's and I am goin to the store today!)
Edited to add: exercise plan to do 36 min. elliptical. I have been doing it the last two days and plan to again today. I am going to try 3 days on and one day off. On my off day I will try to do a biggest loser video or something...just to shake things up a little. My thighs and butt hurt today cause I have been slacking on the elliptical more than I have been doing it so this 2 days in a row is kicking my butt.

Hugs for you for the family drama, Elaine. {{{{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}} Hang in there and kudos for getting rid of the candy. Hope your fake fried chicken tasted good! Great job getting on your elliptical. Very inspiring! I am going to drag up my little old stair stepper that was my 1st yr. post-op pal before getting the treadmill. Might be a good thing to get me back in an exercise groove like you.
Bad eating here lately, I posted on the weigh-in message about it but will get back to being better now. Besides, vacation is just about over so no excuses.

1/2 cup egg beaters
skim milk latte
2 cups black bean soup
1/2 cup nsa choc. chips (baking grazing)
1 homemade nsa choc. cupcake
No exercise....some shopping this morning during which I must have twisted wrong and messed up my middle back. It is sore and tender. Did some demolition in the basement yesterday, maybe it was from that?
May eat more soup tonight then I have to fast for my 2yr. post-op labs tomorrow morning.

THEN I got home from work and saw cookies and really wanted one so I ate a protein bar and then ate 2 cookies WHY WHY WHY
D-1/2 mini bagel, eggs and 3 slices bacon
S-yogurt and 100 calorie pack of popcorn
Why do I this to myself..I had a good day going and then I ate not 1 but 2 cookies.
