TGIF!!! Accountability
I did my 36 min. elliptical yesterday. Got a little shaky though and not sure what that is about. Had to stop 20 min. into it and take a break for 15 minutes and then finished it. Have gotten that shaky feeling before but was able to push through it. Last night felt like I had had way to much caffeine or something. I had eaten at 5:30, got on elliptical about 7 ish so it wasn't that I had low blood sugars or something...thought maybe not enough fluids but heck I drink 2 liters in the afternoon so what the hey?
Mel, or anybody got any ideas?
On to today's plan:
B-scrambled eggs w/ salsa (my nephew was home and cooked us breakfast ;-)
S- coffee w/ SF creamer
L-rest of the meatloaf w/ dijon mustard
S- PB balls
D- crabby salad
S- yogurt w/ granola and BB's
Gonna do the elliptical tonight and see what happens again.

Hope you get an answer on the shakiness. Sounds like low blood sugars to me, but Melissa would know much better. I always get that way when I am outside gardening regardless of how well I've eaten. Working hard at work doesn't even do that to me like gardening does. So weird.
Painting w/sister yesterday totally blew my food plans out the window. I was scrambling around finding painting supplies and taking orders...she is a much better painter and I was thrilled to have direction. Doing it today without her but mostly touch-ups and some wall work today. (we did the new window trim yesterday) Also having people come over to install a new garage door. Busy, busy!
Going to try to get a soup in the crock pot for later so that will be dinner. Have already had 2 servings of egg beaters and salsa and my latte. Didn't drink enough water yesterday. Maybe I will just put a pitcher of water on the counter today to remind myself. But when it is cold I only want hot drinks...pooh! Eating right isn't very comforting sometimes.

Have you tried hot herbal teas, no caffeiene and it is something warm in the afternoon? I started drinking them again when the weather got cooler around here...course the last few days it has ben in the low 80's by afternoon, but that doesn't stop me!

Hmmm If I were to guess I would think that is was a blood sugar thing. What did you eat at 5:30 because when I drop its a reactive hypoglycemia to something I had eaten 1-2 hours prior. Even chili beans have done this to me at work. It's so weird. Did you eat something when you felt shakey or did it just go away? Hard to say.. keep an eye on it and watch for patterns.
Today I went to this fox sox sale.. yes SOCKS lol.. I waited outside in the SNOW yes snow... lol for 20 mintues for this place to open to buy socks for the family for xmas. They are great socks.. 10 bucks a pair on sale for 1-2 dollars a pair and last forever. Keep feet comforted, dry and warm. Love em.
I am doing really good this week with eating and I am very proud to say I have stayed around 1200 calories since Halloween. I am very happy about that. Even when I do my best i have a VERY VERY hard time limiting myself that much. Is it that my body wants more or am I not using my brain well enough to get enough bang for my buck for calories lately? Too many empty things? Perhaps. I am finding I am really wanting to log (thank you Elaine!) and really be accountable which is great.. it feels good and I hope it continues! I am not weighing till wednesday like I said b/c over the weekend I gain so much in fluid when I work nights then shed it off on mon/tues.. its so weird like my body is saying what are u doing to me?
Anyways.. yesterday I ran 3 miles and did 1 hour of weight training. Today honestly I didn't work out b/c well... I just didn't. No excuses. I was going to go to the gym but there was freezing rain coming down and my treadmill I need to get it so it isn't facing the wall. LOL. Boring! I will try to get some activity in tonight. Maybe dancing? that is always fun! I love to dance.
Eats..
Breakfast - protein coffee
Lunch - Chicken/Bacon/Cheese salad with all the veggies at Subway with light drizzle of vinegar/oil. Yep, I eat the whole darn thing. Always have been able to. I figure this to be around 450 cals at most.
Snack - 1/2 portion protein coffee
Dinner - 2 protein pumpkin muffins with "frosting" and whip
Snack???
I am at 866 calories so I will prob eat a meal after we get home from the movies. We are going to see Fireproof tonight with KirK Cameron! I am so excited about seeing this! Did you know he had his wife fill in for all the kissing scenes b/c he didn't want to kiss the actress and only his wife? Awww love a good man.

Now that I think about it...after we ate dinner I did have one of those mini-butterfingers from my kid's halloween bucket! The only naughty thing I have had in days and bam...serves me right! It probably was a reaction the sugar crash! Have I said today "Stupid Halloween candy!"?
My 4 YO decided he wants to eat scrambled eggs for dinner! So we are off to cook that instead of my original plan...but hey I am training him right, right?

uh huh.. i drop every time. Look at what i had last night. I dropped several times from that escapade.. its never wroth the frew mintues of joy with eating those things for me b/c of this. I don't dump as bad as I used to but I do get low sugars A LOT. It's a scary feeling I am sorry you had this but it keeps you on track *most of the time*.. ahem.

BuNcO- I had a salad that I made, then I had 1 ginger snap with this pumpin dip that was the BEST dip EVER, 1 triangle of chicken ques. and a few peanut M&Ms. I stayed away from ALL the other candy and food. There was even a chocolate cheesecake from cheesecake factory there.
BUT the ginger snaps and pumpkin dip kept calling me and I ate more then a few.
THEN..My husband brought home a whole box of chinese food and I ate 2 wings and 2 forkfuls of Mongolan beef (no rice) and now my stomach hurts.
ALL in all it could have been a lot worse and I know it could have been better but I did really well during the day so today is over and tomorrow is another day!!! I am not going to let this RUIN my weekend!!!
