Hi, Betty.... My food menu has been much better than yesterday's, when I shared an Italian Trio w/ DH... soup, bread stick, and salad also.  So today I've had a Plan Jane... Yogurt, cereal, soup, and popcorn kind of a day!  Don't know what's for dinner yet!
Grand baby???   Boy or Girl???  Hey, you might want to help out with creative names that Heather, Natalie, and I have been tossing around on the Dang I Can't Keep a Secret thread!
It's beautiful here too... and I didn't get "out" wwwwaaa!
I swore that I'd never wear a 2 X (actually wore much larger...) again.  What did I notice today???
My jeans are a brand call X2!!!!  Go Figure... Had me laughing!

Ended up making a chicken pot pie w/ Campbell's LF Cream of Chicken. some 2% milk, and mixed veggies.  Then added Reduced Fat Bisquick biscuits and  a little rice on the side... Yum!  Haven't had time to log it into my journal, but the numbers should round-out my day nicely.

I prepped some ground turkey with "sausage" herbs / spices, which is resting overnight.  I'm thinking that if I use Reynold's Release as a sausage casing for 2 oz "links" to be baked in the oven, I'll save myself a lot of aggravation (less mess, sticking, and falling apart).  Once they are cooked, I can always brown them up a bit.  Hope the blend that I used will taste OK.  Planning to make either a light pasta sauce dish with the links!

The blend is a real mix-up, but only small quantities of each, which were pulsed in my coffee grinder!  I've never done this before, but the price was right and I'm up for a little adventure here!

Betty....  3 Days... Bliss!  and trying to walk... Grab the Camera!!!

It's so much fun to see the little ones grow and develop into the "next stage", but giving-up the coziness of the "lap days" has to be one of the hardest to go through... for us!  Bummer!!!  But then the little ones become special in another way... one step at a time.

We don't see our grand babies as much as we'd like, but make the most of our time with them, during our monthly visits. We tease that we might move (rent) nearby to increase our snuggle time... HeHeHe

DH has #3 son primed for marriage in the next year... Oh, Boy!!!  Our #4 son, my baby, is not interested in marriage / children now, but he's 24.

Here's a re-post to Heather's "I can't keep a Dang Secret" thread...  (topic: Boy Names)

Our new grandson's name is Tyler.  When I first heard people call him Ty Ty, I said... Hmmm....
Now I think it's cute, but I only say "Ty Ty" to bust my DH, who is such a mush-pot of a grandpa!
Our first grandson, Jayden, will probably be called Jay when he is older.. or so I've heard!  Both are from DH's #1 son.
DH #2 son is getting married  this year and his soon-to-be Mrs. has a 5-yr-old named Kenzi... She's precious.  DH can't wait for her to call him Grandpa..  He is also putting pressure on the couple to have a baby already!!!!   Good thing that they are grounded!!!  Love 'em all!!!

Members of the OFF MB were discussing Pressure Cookers and various websites for recipes.
Does anyone here use a Pressure Cooker?

I've recently started to use my Dutch Oven (info posted under my "Give me 5 Good Snacks"), but I have no experience with Pressure Cookers... is the taste that different???  Clean up?  Recipes?

I love Fall foods!

OK.... Here's a toughie... Our #2 son is negotiating buying a house, but the radon level came back at 14!  We sent them the EPA info, including the info video.  We think that they are sooo in love with the house that they may go ahead with the purchase.  We suggested that they make a second lower reading contingent on the sale and NOT just try to negotiate a lower price!
I am such a wienie about this... Does any on know more about radon?

Rachel...????   Anyone else??? Time is nearing for the sale!  Any news would help!

Howdy!
Getting ready to hit the hay but missed you and the gang so I thought I'd swing over here for a quick read.

Same old same old here....early a.m. job, home to work in the house, admire the kittehs.    Did some grocery shopping today and restocked my bare sugar-free candy stash.  Also got some of the new (to me, anyway) Kashi pumpkin spice granola-type bars.  Good numbers on them and they are just like a traditional hard granola bar.  They will be great in yogurt!

Restocked some of my basic pantry stuff that was empty too and ended up spending about 25% more than I usually do on that type of grocery run.  Oy the prices!!!  But in the end I did some meal planning stuff that will end up saving money.

Other than that, I am getting ready for a craft sale at work for our Christmas party fundraising committee.  Haven't done anything crafty in so long, it has been kinda nice.   I'll be glad when it is done and out of here so I can start wrapping Christmas gifts.  Working retail gets a person in the mood early.

Well, i've been being visited by AF so I doubt I'll have good numbers tomorrow.  I typically eat like a maniac during that and always gain then lose it.  Don't know if I even want to weight tomorrow.

Nighty night and hugs!!!

Molly
