Sorry I disappeared again...

But I have a *GREAT* excuse...

I am letting you all in on a secret as to why I have MIA.

We are adding a bariatric clinic to our hospital, due to open in October!

I have applied for the Bariactric Coordinator position!  I am uber excited.  However I love my job I am in now so no loss if I do not get it!  There is a guy from a few years ago who they spent money and time into training and I am sure he is wanting to apply for it also.  He isn't a postop though and I have more education then he does by about 4 years of school plus I have management experience and of course a patient myself.  So I have great credentials/qualifications for it but politics talks in my hospital.  So we will see!

I am hoping for at least an interview.. been working hard core on my resume, cover letter, asking for references and for letters of recommendation!

So please know that I am here just really busy at the moment.

Thanks Molly!! I can use some finger crossing!  At the same time there has been some very positive changes at my existing job also so no harm if I do not get it, its nice working 2 days a week and will get the sam pay b/c of all the night shift differential I get.  But I would be working in a field that is passionate to me if I did get it.. its a tough one.  I am leaving the decision in God's hands, he knows what is best for me.

We did have a blast at the concert!  Also, having a great weekend at work precepting a new RN from LPN (He just graduated).  Can't complain there.

 I was just about to post a message asking where the heck you have been!  You posted just in time. 
It is awesome news about the new clinic.  It is a perfect position for you.  I think you would be such a wonderful influence on your patients, but I also think it would be very good for you.  It will keep you on track and address any eating problems.  I cannot wait to hear.  PLEASE keep us updated on if/when you get an interview, how it goes, any calls....WE WANT A PLAY BY PLAY!!!!

I have been super busy too and not posting too much lately, but I do watch out for everyone on here to see how everyone is doing.

Thanks Bea, I have put together quite the portfolio of things, I am hoping it gets me a foot in the door.  But honestly I have it great where I am at also, I really can't complain.  Life is so good now.
