WHO's Missing??? Role Call..& Brief update REQUESTED
Hey there,
I'm still tight in the tummy area --almost 1 yr post op from tummy tuck- sept 24.
We went cruising Western Caribbean, I think--LOL--Montego Bay,Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.
We have booked for may 09 to leave from San Juan Puerto Rico, going to St. THomas, St. Kitts, Antigua, Barbados, and 2 other places I cant think of. We love traveling!!!!
We also went to Vegas in May of this year for Memorial day week.
Now we have 9 months to rebuild our finances so that we have some money to spend on our vacation. Got lots of work to do.
I have been off from exercise for awhile, although I did exercise while on the cruise, we even did a walk for the cure on deck on 1 of the days and my mother in law and I walked extra miles on the track when the race was done. I worked out another couple of days on the cruise too. I gained about 3 pounds but they came back off. Now, I need to concentrate on getting to my goal so I will start back jogging on Sunday.
Good to be back though!
Angela

All is good! I surpassed his goal (his was 180-185). At 173 now. He did take pics of hangy gut to see if insurance will cover TT or something. I don't think they will because I have no rashes or skin issues. Doesn't hurt to try, what's the worst they can say? Get 15-20 pounds removed from there and I may actually reach a norml BMI one day!

Elaine!!!! That's GREAT news!!! What a Success Story!
You must be overjoyed... has it all sunk in yet... just how much you've accomplished...!!??!!?? Glad to hear that the TT pics were taken too. Sounds like you're surgeon feels that insurance will ante-up for you...$!
Normal BMI... of course YOU can do it!!! Go Rock!!!

Hi, Elaine... How long do you think that it will take until you get an answer from the Ins Co... after they review your skin pics that your Surgeon submitted? Thinking that a 15-20 Lb removal will make a lot of improvement on your bod and confidence with a "new guy".... remove the LIE!
I really hope that things go in your favor!

Ya know...I haven't heard a thing.
When we submitted for WLS it took less than 2 weeks and I heard from the ins co. Nurse case manager via the phone before I ever got a letter of approval.
I am really leaning towards the "no" from them because it is taking so long and I don't want to pester them about it either for fear of getting on someones nerves.
I'll keep you posted, though, thanks for asking!
